It's not based on much anything, no real study was done which is why you will constantly see in the article words like possibly, typically, seems, etc. That's an opinion piece there are no links to studies done so he is speaking what he thinks, not what he can prove. The only link I found was a small study where hamsters were used.

I have yet to see one single biohazard container to dispose of these masks after use. Not 1.

I find that particularly peculiar as if this what the deadliest virus, as mainstream media seems to portray it to be, with a 99% survival rate, where is the proper containers to dispose of such highly infectious PPE?
