We are having a costume contest at our next dog show in October. Anybody got any ideas for a cute costume? I'm thinking of doing an Elvis one for Champ. Here is a picture I got from a website.

I think my dogs would eat the costume. :)

  6. I have the same fear...a 6 mo. old chewing machine! Actually, ever since people have been putting out Halloween decorations on their houses our evening walks have become interesting. He's trying to destroy anything lit, moving, or making noise in every yard! (lol) This is a fun time of year.

That's why I'm putting Champ in the costume contest. I think my girls would destroy a costume before I even got it all the way on them. LOL

About 5 years ago when Heidi was younger we were trick or treating with my ex and her daughter. A youngin'. probably 2 or 3 years old dressed as a Lion comes running up to heidi grunting and yelling "Doggy Doggy!" Heidi jumped to the end of her lead and made a noise I'd never heard before and havent heard since. Needless to say that was her last trip trick or treating. Scared me to death. Shes one of the smartest dogs Ive ever been around but I think it was all just a bit much for her. Does anyone else have any similar stories or was I out of line putting my dog in that situation?
