Did successful dogmen ever breed curs?

    In like that post Boze. That is the reality of what I have learned by reading and seems true with what little experience I have in dogs. It rings true for all live stock. But the interesting thing is birds vs dogs and breeding true. Every breeding effects a breed ..at one point or another. Folks say papers for not matter but you have to be able to see where shit went wrong. With DNA these days...AI breeding. It is really science. A lot has evolved for all species. New Age. OLd practices.

    Traits are determined by genetics there's no doubt about that.
    If that wasn't the case there would be no gamedogs to speak of.
    Breeding from curs or cold dogs is a big no no IMO, doing so will only increase your chances of breeding quitters.
    Just because good dogmen have done it doesn't make it right.
    There's no doubt the quality of dogs would have been even better today if it wasn't done right from the start.
