Discrimination or technical problems?

Discussion in 'Dog Discussion' started by realonebulldog, Sep 23, 2007.

  1. I cannot find many texts of Mouser any more. I often have another opinion than he, however, why his texts disappear? Technical problems? Mouser is always friendly and he is not impolite and silly, I would find it very unfair if one extinguishes his Posts always. I am only surprised ....[IMG]

  2. I think it was to do with "reputation points". Go in to "user cp" in the upper right corner where it says "welcome" with your user name. Once you're in there go to "edit options" on the left hand side menu. In edit options scroll down until you see
    <FIELDSET class=fieldset><LEGEND><LABEL for=csel_field6>Reputation-Based Filtering</LABEL></LEGEND><TABLE cellSpacing=3 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD><SELECT id=csel_field6 style="VISIBILITY: visible" name=field6> <OPTION value=0></OPTION> <OPTION value=1>-1</OPTION><OPTION value=2>-10</OPTION><OPTION value=3>-25</OPTION><OPTION value=4>-50</OPTION><OPTION value=5 selected>-100</OPTION><OPTION value=6>-200</OPTION><OPTION value=7>-300</OPTION></SELECT>
Filter out posts by users with less than a certain number of reputation points. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></FIELDSET>

and pick a lower filter # (like -50, or -100) I hope that helps.

  3. He has 1900 points or so and I can see user with much less points...but I try what you say...

  4. Rep points are different that the points you are seeing..you are seeing the points under his name...do what screaming eagle suggested and you will see his posts..
His rep points are -13...rep points are at the very bottom of a users profile....with the red and green dots that show good and bad rep....

You will have to set your viewable rep posts to show the members' posts with negative rep, as ScreaminEagle said.

  5. hmm...I have -1...not much or?

  6. What do you mean...that is what you are set with? -1?
If so you need to make set for -50....than you will be able to see certain posts
