I have always said that and I firmly believe it too. You never see a true dogmans dogs out terrorizing the neighborhood either .....wonder why that is ? Oh I know...maybe because they know what they got and understand the importance of proper containment. I really do fear the average pet owner, too often they set thier dogs up for failure and then the rest of the good people end up paying for the average joes mistakes.

As for the pit bull owning community, its not them its the Pet bull owning community who deny what it is that they own and allow the dog to be in situations that they should never have been in in the first place.

Owners who treat their pit bulls like kids or toys are not the reason our breed will get banned but the irresposible owners who have no common sence (sp)

That whole website is the reason alone why this breed will eventually get banned. Oh my lord that place is full of the blind leading the blind.

P.S. Thanks for turning me on to that nut house, I often do not know if I should laugh or be afraid.....I think I am leaning to being afraid.

There are many reasons the breed is under fire lately, and no one "side" can shoulder all the blame. I have just as much frustration with people who deny the history and treat their dogs as Labs in Pit Bulls' clothing as anybody else. But our situation is too complex and muddy to try and suggest that they are the only ones dragging us down.

They are a huge part of the problem.

"the labs in pit clothing" brigade are also responsible for a lot of these accidents. These accidents give a lot of ammunition to the people that really hate the pit bull and what it represents to them.

throw the dogs through the window then jumpo out yourself:eek:

  10. BYB are also to blame, selling dogs to people like this (the kind of person who jumps out the nearest window when a fight breaks out, wtf?) just to make $$$for you other window hoppers out there, if you own a pit bull, even if it is your only pet, you really need to own a stick and know how to use it~she's a window hopperrrrr~ ((50 cents window shopper beat playing in my head))

One of the best fighting dogs ever in the UK

Scotsman's champion Max (APBT) was partly crippled before his fighting career because he jumped out of a second story window after a cat he saw walking around outside!:D

    But that is off topic

  12. Amen to that

Blaa. Says here the source of this information is "ONE News", which is a national tv channel. It's a dog fight, in which the victim was a Spaniel.
In my view hardly newsworthy, as it can hardly be the first time a stronger dog has gotten the better of a smaller one, right? Guess TVNZ were all out of attacks on humans for the moment.
