in my area thier was a dog attack on a human last week and yes the dog was called a pitbull without any proof. The lady that owned the dog had him on a walmart cable with a shitty snap.Dog broke free and attacked a woman. If this dog was on a propper chain setup would have never happened.I dont know the owner or he story.Dog should have been put down long before this happened anyway but if you choose to keep a manbiter you sure need to do better than a ewalmart cable...But anyway it was another black eye for the breed..WKRG channel 5 news Mobile Ala...for anyone that wants to look.Happened last week so you will have to scroll down to find the threads..like 3 threads on it.

if done right keeping them on a chain can be safer for the dog, you dont have to worry about them gettin into shit inside that can mess them up or kill them. ex, about a month ago my boy some how got ahold of my inhaler and nearly killed him and cost me 1k in vet bill, a very costly mistake on my part. also as bamaman stated if you hook them up right they shouldnt get out.
