yo i would tube feed and keep that dog hydrated with pedialyte, i mean its best to do the vet but if thats out of the question then this is what i would do:

tube/force feed, KEEP HYDREATED, KEEP HYDRATED, KEEP HYDRATED!!

i would use pedialyte, and do the chicken broth thing, and try to keeps some food or something.

maybe somebody will come along with better advice on how to get it done!

I was told that that the fluid shot in the dogs neck was "saline".

well it has electrolites in it not sure if its the same as saline , but purified water works also . if u dont have a lacted i.v ringer use a needle that holds alot ol liquid to inject under the skin ...never in a vein.

Pancake syrup.. Sounds crazy, but if you have a pup that will not drink the syrup will make him want to drink. The sweetness of you syrup is irresistable to your dog. Not a cure by any means, the pancake syrup is to make the dog drink.

Wouldn't distilled water be better as an injectable D-G.

good, keep doin what your doin death grip, but really bro? id still force feed ssome pedialyte into her on top of the injection of fluids.
overkill is better than underkill in this situation.

evenb if she doesnt keep it down, do it again. and again & again.

keep her close to you, maybe let her sleep with you so she'll want to live!

yeah , thats what im using cause i ran outa i.v solution so i refilled the bag with distelled/purified water & run the i.v on each side of the neck or on each side of the kidney area .

gotta keep living spaces clean. U need to look into the pups living conditions. I (knock on wood) have never had an issue with parvo so far. Good luck
