the staff in the sixtys in the usa!yes it was out classed,but it was smaller by a margin.gave a good acount of its self.
and was that GR CH Buddy fighting in the pit there?

Good observation Soze.. Not GR CH Buddy since he never had cropped ears, but the dog that's playing with the Stafford in first video is the classic stamp of a Reid's Skipper bred dog.. The shape and style is Skipper, now look at the four white toes and white flash on the chest.. Skipper spat them features out like clones.. IMO that's a Reid dog, but of course it can't be, since it's a historic video and everyone knows Reid never worked his dogs, then I see the hand of a black fella and I ask myself, who was African American, owned and worked Kingfish dogs and sold them to Ed Reid? I reckon that would be Glen Stubblefield! Could be wrong? but both them brindle dogs (one with the staff and other with the buckskin bulldog) They was Kingfish dogs or I'm a gin drinking English toff! it just rips out of them, head hunting, sliding backward style, spinning out of the corners, more interested in controlling their opponent than killing him.. That's what Skipper/Buddy/Kingfish does all night, then you cross something else in and ooooooffff!

Whats also intresting to note is the Staff.ill say it.ill admit ive been wrong in the past.and it seems like the staff was worked up untill the 1960s.staff maybe the wrong title.and maybe its more apropreate to say pit dog.
my Grandad burryied a dog called "Yuddy"in 1962.and my Grandad was not from the Midlands.nor were his dogs.

Maybe not Stubblefield personally (RIP) but Kingfish dogs was known as 'ghetto dogs' and plenty owned by African Americans so maybe it's one of the brothers around Stubblefield's camp, but them is Kingfish dogs or I'll eat Wuhan bat!
