Not my blood but definitely one of more respected lines out there. What kind of dogs they produce. Or maybe have to mix with a more game bloodline

Jeep's sire quit v's Lonzo's Vindicator.. Jeeps Dam was a daughter of Bullyson who quit v's Benny Bob and granddaughter of Eli who's sire was a rank cur in Kiwi's view (and maybe he's right?) Anyone who never knew Jeep's record or legacy could be forgiven for believing he was a cur bred mutt and the same might be said of Boudreaux Eli.. I'm no expert on Jeep and Eli dogs, but know for fact they produced some outstanding athletes, I don't know why they did, BUT THEY DID! I've owned dogs descended from both and liked them! Maybe in the end it comes down to cur bred preference :)

I don't know what dogs quit in USA and I really don't care mate, only ever cared about what I fed or picked up shit after.. Redboy produced legions of great dogs who still producing great dogs today, same goes for Jeep, ELI and all the rest.. I wonder how many went into Midnight Cowboy and GR.CH. Art thinking they were cur bred and what did they think later? The family of dogs we feed and where they come from is our own business and proving them is a lifetime journey.

Thats the thing mate how can they produce gamedogs if they were bred fom curs ??? Doesn’t weigh up to me ... surely when inbred on these supposedely cur bred dogs would produce a high percentage of curs ? The more i think that they wern’t out of the dogs they were said to be ?

I don't have the answers mate, just questions? CH. Curstopper considered as game as any from UK during the 80's, yet his sire (CH.Hagar) stopped twice in school and his dam (Rayrock's Lighning) stopped on more than one occasion.. I'd have culled both and Curstopper wouldn't have happened, but fate played a different hand.. I witnessed the treadmill competition between Springview's GR.CH.Bruno v's Hagar and it was so one sided, it was embarrassing.. Hagar won in 33mins and could have gone again straight after.. Breed game dogs to get game dogs, breed winning dogs and maybe take home a trophy!

Didn’t Snooty quit a couple times? The “N” dog too. Reno 8x2L. Bullyson was already mentioned. Then there are the countless dogs in peds who quit THAT WE DONT EVEN KNOW ABOUT. I’d be willing to bet 99% of dogs bred have a couple curs and quitters in there. Hard to know the dogs in a ped are game unless you bred them all. There are lots of dogs that never quit but didn’t produce.

Genetics don’t work the way we think they should. Let’s just be glad these quitters were in the right hands and bred. Truth be told, we would be without a whoooooole lotta good dogs today had these quitters been on my yard. Thank God they were not

Right you lot. After all these years, all these tears, & all these holes, I'm meant to be as accepting of as Rank a Cur as Scrub in a pedigree, as Bo or Bullyson?

Bo? A dog that won at least five matches & scratched back into Zebo's litter brother after an hour & a half. Then didn't.

Or Bullyson? The great destroyer that was hobbled as sure as Phar Lap (look it up).

Two dogs that had their blood perpetuated ONLY because enough Dogmen had the wisdom to discriminate between a Rank Cur & a Deep Game (but not Dead Game) dog. You can be sure earthworms from California to the Carolinas were well fed in the weeks following those two matches, as the ignorant cleared spots to make way for pups off the next big thing.

I have no reason to doubt Mr Boudreaux is a gentleman & a scholar. The truely sad irony is that were I in his shoes I would find it very, very difficult to admit my bloodline is NOT bred around a Rank Cur. And that Mayfield was right.

cur or not , scrub , Bullyson, Bo , have produced great dogs and their descendants have produced great dogs right up to today ,,nearly every top producers have these dogs in their pedigrees , very few if any good modern dogs and bloodlines don't have these dogs in their pedigree ,
