Anyone uses home prepared mixes to feed orphan puppies? What is the best to use when special products are not available?

I used Multi- Species it worked fine. Goat's milk is the best thing to use.

If you're having an emergency here's a recipe that can tide you over until you can get a proper puppy milk formula. Mix one tin of EVAPORATED MILK to one tin of WARM water. Buy yourself a packet of GLUCOSE powder from the drug store. Add one teaspoon of the glucose powder into the evaporated milk warm water mix. Add about 15 milliliters of cooking oil into the mix and stir it all together. Put it in a baby bottle and let the pups drink. Be cautious not to overfeed the pups and the mix must be warm not hot. Got this from our VET.
