I read an interview with Don Carter who's opinion I've always respected! Said he saw Zebo in one of his later outings in the hands of one of his later owners and Zebo wasn't what he'd expected given his formidable reputation.. Mr Carter was respectful enough to concede that Zebo was older, probably used up and he won anyway, I think Lonzo, Mountain Man and Adams was Zebo's golden years, still never forget the way Lonzo talked about McGee's Panther though Good times!

 

Still grabbed that kid. Should've been put down regardless how good of a match dog he was. And "humane" goes out the window when they bite a kid. If you have a make eater on a private yard no one and definitely no child will come in contact with I won't argue with you. But I will about keeping one who bit a kid.

So there's no misunderstanding.. If Zebo or any legend dog was on my yard and bit my son, he'd have been dead on the spot.. Grand champion or not and no matter how much $$$$$ people would pay.. Dead and buried! As a side note, once my wife heard about it, I'd probably be lying next to him!

Same here!!!went near one of my kids and I'd take its head off and burry it on the spot!!with that said.if you did have one what was like that.you'd just keep it away from folk.some are a bit like that.but one what's so unpredictable can get the fuck of my yard.I could not be arsed with that!!!plus it would be rather terrifying aswell...... There was a great interview with Tarheel Matt,in an sdj 2013,he talks quite a lot about the panther dog in it,and other NC dogs,i remember him talking about very rare Stidham blood,which was well sought after in NC.The blood is behind Jocko and a bitch called Rast,s Queenie.i was very curious about it and started a post on here enquiring about it but nobody replied.
