I though as I have just got round to joining the site, instead of just using it as a library. Sorry. I thought I would share with you just a couple of dogs that are in our lives at the moment. I hope you like them.
This is Mud and Stig our 2nd and 3rd generation home bred Patterdales.
My other half works them in pest control as well as hunting. The BF has worked the previous 4 generations and they are very hard terriers who are very game as well as suffering from a high prey drive (lol)
On the left is Mud his top bitch and Stig his young Dog on the right

Don't be mistaken by thier innoculus appearance, The're every bit a 'Game Dog', more than wothy of being on Game-dog.com.Remember the're 50% of the blood we know as the Pitbull Terrier and imo are a main part that contributes the Extremely High Prey-Drive for starter's, Brain's, Smart's,Gameness, and maybe more 'Courage' considering they go 'To-Ground' in total darkness and have to find thier quarry first in a treacherous maze of winding, dropping, narrowing, tunnel's(tubes) that can/collapse, get filled with water, tangled with 100year old tree roots, All to persue Vermin and evict or end it's life in persuit of this eviction, the dog' are programed that way, it's what they live for and seem to thrive on, The're depressed and 'Pent up' when not working and with Gusto will alway's give 100% and usually suceed at whatever work their put to.Going far uphill they stand a good chance of meeting thier most formidible foe,the Badger! Not just one either at time's! Do Love a Good Pitbull though!

Patterdale's are a mixed breed working dog with no set size limits. If they can get the work done so be it.
