My female dog is 8 months and I wanted to train her to develope her muscles. She is a bulldog/pitbull mix so I wanted to know what could be some exercises that would be best for her.She is well built already, but i just want her to have lean muscles.Anything that will help will be fine.

At her age a couple good walks a day, maybe a run here and there if you are in condition. when my dog was that age daily walks in the morning and afternoon went a long way to cut out the fat. There are plenty of other aerobic activities that can help you start off your dog on a path of activity all her life. Use the search feature, there are plenty of threads on training and activities for dogs.

Thanks alot, and as for weights should I hold off on that?I read that i should wait till shes older for her bones to develope all the way.I usually just pay with a spring pole n chase her around for a fast run.

yeah, hold off on the weights. If you are planning to trian her for weight training becasue of future pull competition you should get with someone knowledgable with that so that they can help you appropriately train your dog with a consistent method. Other wise if you are just gonna keep the dog as a pet that is active stick with something that is more aerobic, running, walking, springpole, etc. etc.

I'd advise you to slow down. She's a very pretty girl, but American Bulldogs tend to be even slower maturing than APBT's. So, she's not done growing, and will also fill out more. Let her mature more before you condition her, and don't get to attached to a weight. As she grows, she's going to weigh more, even when lean and conditioned, than she does now.

W-21,,she is a fine looking dog....real nice,100% with leslie h,,let her fill out and grow and keep doing what ur doing cause' she look's very well in them photo's.....g-look...ps::..what the mem's are saying above is the way to go,you will notice as she age's she will look more lean, as she lose's her puppy fat.
