Feel free to use homeopathic "products" on yourself, but please be more responsible about the well being of your animals.

I have no clue but they might work as preventive I'm sure they would eradicate a bad care of worms

Just for laughs I was told by a very well known dog man over thirty years a go that give them your cigarette butts the nicotine will kill all worms I said I don't smoke and he took out a pack and tapped one out and said start smoking I am a tobacco farmer support us, and yes he believe that non sense and lost all five that day.

  10. To be honest that's what I had in mind to PREVENT. I was going to use conventional methods then use the herbal method a month or so later to keep the worms at bay.however..I'm not sure if it's a good idea after all...

  11. lol.very common old fashion method that I believe is suppose to work......if the dog survives such treatment that is.....and I bet thousands of dogs have bit the dust because of this treatment...tobacco is very poison to dogs....

Just buy a big container of Apple Cider Vinegar, give 20-30 ml with equal amount of water, poured over food, once or twice a week. As a preventative. Anecdotal I know, but I haven't had a flea or seen a worm in years. I still treat with Drontal 6 monthly & Ivomec annually (FOR PIGS NOT CATTLE).

Heart worms would be a different story, but for giardia and possibly some other common intestinal parasites, natural homemade recipes may be of value - especially in building long term immunity and resistance/prevention. I look at this homeopathic stuff pretty frequently. I also believe in the power of modern veterinary medicine and the knowledge of those dedicated to the science. Problem with a lot of vets tho, is many are nutrition ignorant...more profit in slinging the latest drugs and corn based garbage feed stacked behind the front desk rather than asking clients to consider feeding raw or home cooked.

  15. Thanks for the tip.a lot cheaper as well to bye every day things, apple cider, garlic ,exc, exc,or what ever people believe in using for a prevention.Plus u can get them in your local supermarket.

  17. Well said.some commercial vets are terrible.I'm sorry to say it but its the truth, an I feel very strongly about it as I've had many bad experience's with them.you walk in there and their basically holding there hand out soon as u walk through the door, most of them have limited knowledge of animals from what I've seen. And your right, all they can do is percribe some rubbish simply by typeing some thing in to a computer...

A friend of mine is a vet and he said that they cannot recommend raw diet. Than we had a conversation about it and he told me his opinion.
