I feed Victor.... But I need to cut my feed bill

Tried it a year or 2 ago. It was alright. Didnt notice any diffence in the dogs and I have to go way out of my way to get it so I went back to Diamond Naturals. Id rather just feed raw but i have never found a cheap meat supplier. I spend about 110 a month on kibble so its hard to beat. Ive tried every which way and always end up right back with Diamonds.

 

I live in south Alabama...can you post a picture of the bag of feed your talking about? You buy from a co-op?

Man that Black Gold is rough.I tried it to and tried the bill Jack.We didn't even have a Tractor Supply here until a few yrs ago and that's when I went to Diamond.I live in a small town

 

I do, actually, a lot, Im a pretty avid hunter but hunting will only feed them over the winter months. These mutts blew through 120lbs of deer meat, bones, organs this year in about a month. I can only shoot a buck and a doe in a single hunting season. They eat small game in the fall, deer in the winter, small game in the spring and only thing you can hunt around here in the summer is crows and grass rats.

 

I drove a very long distance just to buy a two bags of black gold. Ended up having to buy it from conservation club. Paided out of my ass for it. Dogs didn't like and I've never such funky colors of shit. Lesson learned

 

I get this from Tractor Supply and I only use the Chicken and Chick peas.

 

That's funny..Ive walked right on by that bag countless times. Appreciate it....

 

All my dogs do well on the Wholesomes ,all the way down to the Jack Russell's and the Jack Russell pups.Shit looks good and a little less of it than I got with Diamond.

 

Hot damn. That's a crazy limit. I'd be shooting ducks, geese, neighbor kids, anything to get them on raw year round lol

 

I just switched my mutts to American Journey fish and sweet potato recipe. It looks decent and has solid reviews but no one can determine where it’s made so we’ll see how it goes.
