i am interested in getting a few contacts from central and suthern il ,, i realy would love to have a fun show at the state capital fairgrounds in springfield next year or this year

 

Phill - I know a lady that use to be big into weight pull, and some showing aswell. I do have her email, and she was really involved with the dogs. I was talking to her about a year ago. She has some pretty good dogs too. She was from down round KY.

I'm in central Illinois. Where abouts are you looking into having one? I would be willing to help, and do some leg work, since I am down here. You may know of her. She is a certified judge for weight pull, and been at it a long time. I's sure she would be a good person to contact.

Awesome area. I have an uncle down that way that has an awesome place we could camp, close to Pinkneyville. 5 minutes from DuQuion.

 

McCoy I think he was thinking about Springfield, but this DuQuoin area sounds nice too. Let's get something going on this. Would like to see all sorts of APBT from around the area maybe St. Louis as well. Fun classes people, fun time etc.!!!

She was big in the IWPF(International weight pull federation)? Something like that anyway, and could likely set up a pull to take place also. It would be cool.

Also - Still have not gotten a list of places. Should I contact the ADBA for this? Just need a basic list.

GR CH, CH, Best in Show, Best jr Handler, Showmanship, 1st,2nd, 3rd....and so on.
Hope I can get this info, cause I have these awards in the works and need to include the place taken on there too.

 

happy to be able to say whoever has a deacon dog bring it for the fun class best deacon dog ,, no we arn't gonna check peds dogmans word it will be for the am judge robin kuhns i'm guessing he seen more deacon dogs up close

 

sorry i been busy work is finaly here and i'm commuting by bicycle train and buses 50 miles to work ,, i cleared my inbox and ment to save a few messages about the show from 3 people we contacted 1 of them but not the others pm me guys judges are still the same and i accualy can't wait to watch ceaser look at about 20 certin dogs he schould have a good time he's a very busy judge so far this year

 

the show is in 2 weeks i just got back from inspecting the show grounds and they haven't looked better the hourse arena is beeing used this year and it soft trees are trimmed it looks real good

 

I saw the Pearl in the issue I got week or so ago. Thats some good stuff !! I am so excited about coming. Hope my boy can act ok. He aint been in a crate for a while... should be interesting and im sure yall will be laughing a bunch.

it's been working, so have i, my 3 are a bit under conditioned but they want to get out real bad , pearls mom is gonna be in heat she'll stay home she is in so good of condition right now i almost don't want to breed her she'll get a cup forsure if i hold off and if i do she's retired at age 6 ,, with a little help from our friends we have good raffel stuff with a little help from the nato summit i made some extra cash for the door prize tv, dvd and little rascles dvd's bbq smores and little rascles by the fire hearth i'm starting to feel good trophys are in my cuz made a cool end table with a bulldog on it and it looked so cool i asked him if he could make a last minute best deacon award yes it's starting to look good

 

so i tried to get the message out that in the past few issues in the gazette i saw some adds about studs and pups in my aera from chicago bulldogs and some kennels with their dogs and empire kennels they have andy capp dogs come out guys your real close to the show i'm sure your dogs want to get out a handfull of us want to see what ya guys got it schould be a good time

some books were donated also autographed and if it makes a difference my cuz'es wife will be wrighting a book and she'll be useing pictures from the show in the book

 

ok wow was i persolaly happy with some of the plates that rolled in east coast west coast and plenty from the soulth ,, i promised pups to 2 girls from the east throw in another i been travleing to shows i've watched a certin nj woman for years she came here cuz i asked sweetheart if your full at the time when it comes have a friend ready your gonna get one and them utah people i might add a very good crew and they have a best deacon dog please accept one of our pups when the time comes ,, i thank the judges our newest member thank you for the plaque's ,, i gotta thank judge davis he gave a old male 1st place i don't know if he knew but he awarded it to a animal that i held for three weeks a while back and yes i call him a animal not a dog the master handler added to his sucess you only see one like him like once in a lifetime hands down the very best dog at the show congrats to him and his caregivers just him beeing there was the highlight of the day for me

 

We had a great time. It was an honor to donate the plaques. It is a new idea and we need to not bring the little monsters the next rip, so we can actually set up and stay that way. I could not believe the shape them dogs were in. I see whats up now and gotta put in bout twice the time I have been to get in there. I was real happy that we got a 3rd and it made my day. I was so proud of my boy for doing well. Now I know he is worth the time and want to see if we can improve. It was great to see how people that know whats up, do their thing,, so I could watch too. We are going down to the fun show in Missouri next weekend, just for the experience and to show support. you should have a message with my phone number on it..call me sometime so I got your number.. Need any help with anything as far as the Club, dont hesitate to ask.

We did pretty good at the show.

Bronson took 2nd and 3rd in the champions class.
Only entered my old boy Nick in the first show and he took 1st in 5 and over
My little Red Ryder bitch in my avatar made her debut in the CH class and got skunked. She is very young though, but Ceasar Davis made a point to say how nice she is
Her brother Psycho-Billy Cadillac took Best of Show in BOTH SHOWS!!! Made me proud that my produced did so well

Was a lot of nice dogs and great people! I rolled in about 5 am this morning. Now to get ready for the show here next week.

you bet Boogie.. I actually talked to the Lady showing Psycho Billy Cadillac. Sounds like yall may have been the ones to receive the glass plaques. Very good turn out and lots of cool folks. Gonna leave the kids at home next weekend!

 

Had a great time as usual, good to see so many friends after not showing for over a year in ADBA! I'm very proud of the two I took.

While Contessa didn't place in 2-3 females, I think she did very well, it was a big class and great practice for her. I'm sure Boogie will do great things with her in the next few months, we miss her already, our house is too calm and quiet without her. Hope she's adjusting well and not causing too much trouble.

I decided to bring Medicine Man aka Prozac last minute, just for fun since he had zero work done. He surprised us when he took two 1st in 18-24 males in his ADBA debut.

Tessa is doing fine. She loves me!!! The bitch pissed in my house already!!!!! Grrrrrr!!!!!! Of course it's pouring down rain this morning so I may introduce her to the mill and see if she will run it.
