Termite. I always remember a guy sold the black RB dogs cuz they weren't red. They turned out to be good enough to perpetuate a family. I'd like to try some heavy Jocko blood. If Wacc has it, id like to try it out. I'd rather it be like slim said, more Jocko/RB than RB/J. I feel like folks watered down the RB due to popularity. Everybody thinks all RB dogs are game and add anything Redboy lookin for gameness

 

I read the story where Mr.Chavis Fletcher challenged both Termite and his pedigree...
I never heard of Termite being sold because he was black and I got toknow carolina kennels ralph and joe,,,
I dont think Termites owner Perry ever offered the dog for sale but rather stud...

I wouldnt question Termites ped entirely as Jocko has Mayfields Ni###r in his pedigree
and both Jocko and termite where very similar styles to the pit general from that blood...

Possibly a throwback to that old blood,,,
I could see where raising alot of dogs from the same family would mold you thoughts to as here this diffrerent looking dog come from
and I also have seen dogs pop up that dont look like any dogs for many generations so its hard to say on looks alone...

Its ironic that the black zebo dog was said to not have the correct pedigree do to color and so forth,,,
yet Lonzo claimed Jocko to be from that same color they questioned zebo over,,, hmm???

I noticed those type of people are surrounded by dogs that they question the peds also...

 

EP as i remember it being told all the black dogs were sold by Chavis. Could be the Andy or Nigger in them. Who knows..throwback or not Chavis prefered the red ones as they probably favored Jocko in performance. Termite was a beast and i wouldnt mind adding a little to the yard. back on the topic Sonny has some very nice animals and offers about 10 or at stud. the OP is a little confused and i think bama is right about being blinded...on top of that he has young dogs and has not seen them mature yet. he is just impressed with their attitude. i wish i had more to offer this thread but i am sure somebody will chime in with their Wac dogs and crosses.

I know there was alot of contraversy to termites true offspring as he was hitting and missing,,,
some say the first breeding are true and later they used a son of termites that looked alot like him...
They say the son produced better and the syrus dog came from that him but who knows,,,
one thing for sure Termite mad a name for himself and eastern carolina was dubbed TERMITE TERRITORY...

I spoke with the men that aquired 357 and SIRUS also,,,
because of my location at the time they wanted to know where the termite dogs were at as sirus was the best dog they had...

pure and crossed that blood stayed true and you seem to get two types,,,
dark dogs that were terrible back end dogs and red dogs that were dead game,,,
alot in between but those were the reasons they bred yellow to the jocko line,,, BALANCE...

and in my opinion the most effective significant cross dominating today...

back to the subject on hand unlike termites looks and ability,,,
Big John looked like more the yellow phenotype but fought more like the jocko genotype...

 

this is all speculation but here home in the Carolinas it's so much more stories to what is perceived and what is reality. Many don't believe any of those dogs lineage. It's true Chavis sold the black ones but quite a few old timers still around say that he sold them not because they weren't as good but because they were proof as something else being in the pot which as they put it was common knowledge to them.. Also many will attest that Yellow John isn't bred as stated. Which kind of could make sense but I assure you if you think about anything long enough you can make sense out of pretty much anything. Surely Termite, Yellow John, Redboy aren't the only dogs with question marks as a lot of trickery and BS happened over the years. You will go crazy trying to figure it all out, truth is without DNA back then it's impossible. Im pretty sure just about 80% of the dogs peds are fucked off due to these folks and their ways.

 

I'm just asking if anybody was winning with these family. You're right, all I can do is be impressed with the attitude until they reach the mature age but in the meantime I wanted to see who's having success with them

 

Gotcha Huntinghogs...the best place to ask is Wac as you had posted you and him have a pretty good relationship.Public forums all your going to get are opinions. Wac dogs were more popular back in the early 90s when the BJ vs Mayday convo was a hot topic. I know its a solid family and he has done right by it. One thing to remember is when breeding if you outcross this and that your yard fills up pretty quickly i know i dont have the room to make a bunch of crosses and hope they turn out. i stick with a few different lines as i know the % and what to expect , it also helps knowing the first 3-4 generations. If i was you i would just enjoy your animals..hopefully they work out for you.

When one wins there shows in devastating fashion it becomes the talk of the town with news spreading like wild fire, soon people are lined up ready to place there orders no matter what the price as they are HOPING to own the next devastating killer.....Owners are getting ready for the onslaught of sales coming there way not even knowing how there talk of the town will ACTUALLY PRODUCE, but they dont care just as long as the money is rolling in......after a couple of years and no one comes forth claiming the next devastating killer, only then do they start to question his prepotency as a producer...soon after the fires die down and people are starting to look for the next new flavor of the month.....If one is looking for many different flavors, basking and robbins is where its at as they have 31 flavors. LMAO

 

Huntinghogs. Aint nobody winning with them dogs and then dogs aint done nothing in years. Thats why nobody on here could tell you or name some that is winning. They all scared because waccamaw is on this forum and they dont want to flat out tell you the truth. From what I hear is that he selling high priced pups to newbies and nothing from his yard is winning nothing

 

Both ways? It seems to me that none of you guys can answer his questions becuz you all know that waccamaw dogs aint winning. I can't name any that did or didnt becuz nobody is useing them dogs but waccamaw

 

Wacc lines seems to cross well with Tab/Jeep bred dogs....which is basically Jeep/Redboy/jocko. lol
