That's a cool lil spot you got it set up in Laced. Get you a heavier duty water pale and your set. For now, at least take the blue handle off the bucket, that's the first thing the pup will find to chew.

  6. Make sure to give the pup something to chew or play with, that fence won't hold up as the pup grows if it is a chewer.........jmo

LWG just keep an eye on those plastic ties cause sometimes in the weather the get brittle n break easy, it take a while tho

yeah ive already thought of that i keep a 200pack of zips in the house, i know the sun exposure makes plastic brittle! good eye tho..

to heck with that, chain that male bud. ive had pups that destroyed setups just like that.

i hear ya, except these fucked up cali laws prevent me from tethering more than 3 hours, all it takes is a neighbors call to AC before i get slapped wit a fine and even worse in AC radar.

worse comes to worse ill have to chain em inside the kennel and have it for easy disassemple incase those cocksuckers ever show up!

but i thought about that lee, and thats why ive secured it as much as possible (hogwire zipped on top) and every other cyclone link was tied down.

the thing i worry the most about is the dogs chewing thru the cyclone!

Pick yourself up some wire ties that you attach fencing to the poles with, problem solved cheaply.

He could put hog panels on the inside of the Kennel frame. Dog wont go anywhere. I do however prefer a chain set up but in some places you can't tether a dog.

You ain't lyin bout AC in Cali. When I lived in Fremont AC would come out to the house like every month to check out my lone male on his chain spot. Living in Cali you can't have no kind of fun anymore. Too many treehuggers!

BTW Nice little setup. Sounds like you got all your bases covered.

How about a hotwire or two?

on metal? isnt that compared to stickin a fork in an electrical socket??? lol if not that may be doable. im looking to buy a house with a fenced in yard, if i find one i already planned on running the top n bottom with hotwire. i thought that would be a big no no with kennels tho!?!?!? food for though....

yea AGK, i already thought of the wire to secure it.......but zips are faster n easier! and cheap enough for when they need to be replaced.
im already planning on replacing the zips every summer just to be on the safe end.

    appreciate the feed back guys.......

oh yeah and i too prefer chainspots to kennels..........buuuttttt......its just not possible in the county i live in, and pretty soon prolly the whole state goin the way it is....

Here's my honest opinion of your Kennel set up LWC , I mean G LMAO.

    1. That Chain link Gauge is weak , looks like a 11 or 12 gauge, you need at least 9 or lower gauge.

    2. You need to put either a secure metal roofing on top or chain link so he cant escape from the top.

    3. Never use zip ties in replacement for tie wire.

    4. That looks like a wrap around kennel, the clips to hold them should be the permanent ones with the screws and not just those snap on clips that can bend under a little stress.

Last but not least , I would rather just move the fuck out of that state LMAO
