Last season Hunt

Discussion in 'Sports & Activities' started by Primitive Supply, Mar 3, 2014.

  1. This was the last of the season squirrel hunting with the dogs and the slingshots. I will start going for the RATs for the spring and summer, then in the Fall going back to the bigger stuff, but remain with the small game. PS

  6. You gotta clean and process the shell. Once that is done, you quarter the animal. Then with some seasoned water you boil the four parts slowly. Then after a couple of hourse the meat should be very tender, I make a tomato gravy, and a pot of rice. When everything is done I put the rice on the plate then the meat, and then the tomato gravey over all that. The Cajuns have been eating armadillo for a hundred years that I know of. PS
