I see it like this. The bigger the better. I think about it like a pair of plyers and a man with a strong grip but worn teeth on his plyers might not be able to loosen a bolt where as a man with a weaker grip but new plyers with good teeth might be able to loosen said bolt. Torque thats the word. Now I know a hard biter gone bite hard regardless of hard ware but what y'all think?

I think you are on point...

Worn teeth means(possibly) more slipping. Slipping is not good cause you can bust a knuckle...

Daggers look impressive but I like thick medium teeth. Wide, thick daggers are ideal. If the teeth penetrate muscle, that's gone do damage. Better if it can get to bone

What about premolers. I see some dogs that have good size k9s and molers but almost nothing in between and there's those whose mouths look like a beartrap.

The bigger the cutter the more of a chance it's breaking.

X2 dogs with big cutters tend to lose em. Good friend of mine had a dog with massive cutters and it had lost them all by the time he was 4 years old.

Yeah I was thinking can't be to long cause then it'll sanp easier as always gotta have balance. How bout the teeth in the middle between the cutters and molers.the pre molars so to speak. Any body notice how some dogs are more prominent and what's are your thoughts on the mechanics of em so to speak?

Tooth be told more damage seemed to come from smaller k9 teeth sharper points and stronger teeth overall

Actually Tooth be told, size does matter to a degree but the tooth is only a tool. What matters most is the animal behind it and how well one can utilize it too there maximum advantage/potential.

I dont think it necassarily the size of the tooth in the fight but rather the structure and density...

Alot of cheaper kibble is unbalanced and actually makes the teeth and bones grow faster and bigger but also weaker...

So the bigger the teeth the more chances of breaking is probable,,, but I have seen some of the biggest strongest cutters on a certian dog that was fed the right calcim phosphrus ratio via raw ground up bone meal,,, this dogs teeth were very sound and he put them to use chewing his house till well over ten years of age and hardly hade any real ware,,, good genetics and the right feed early when its important...

I dont think its the size as much as the right density and a good sound base...

A group in the caribean like a filed down rounded tooth as the damage it does inside is more crucial than bleeding...

I dont personally know,,, But my buddy dirty told me about the one show that carolina les ever one in which he noticed les sharpened the dogs teeth to what my dirty said looked like talons and went into a war with a deadgame charge from the real outsiders...
    ONLINE PEDIGREES :: [114705] :: BRASWELL'S MEATBALL
Nicebred dog that was said to scratch like a cannonball,,, my old buddy dirty also said that
Les told Mr.hargroves he was getting out of the dogs with some twenty losses and a couple wins,,, Harrys response was you got to be in the dogs to get out...
Dirty said if he noticed his advasaries teeth sharpened like that he would call forfiet or a foul...

I never seen his pedigree and its very nice,,, also noticed this...

Woner what happened to his hardware,,, too bad les gave the dog away and the new owners had to deal with no hardware...bad practice...

With the density and structure being the SAME the bigger/longer tooth will have the advantage over the smaller tooth its just logical science.

I also believe with some the size doesn't matter. If they can bite they can bite. I seen an old once with really bad teeth most broken or missing. I heard him make a lot of them start talking and looking for high ground.

Seen them both brittle middle teeth decent k9's. Seen stuff looked like Orca or Jaws, it all came down to the heart of the dog.
Size to me doesn't matter if they're heartless. I guess the logic would be bigger is better in that department but they would need to use them properly.

What I have always realized is how deep they will sink them teeth with bad intent.

That is the logic most people fail to realize because they are too caught up in the well I seen dogs with small teeth bite harder or do more damage then dogs with bigger/longer teeth LMAO. What they fail to realize is its the animal behind the tooth that matters regardless of tooth size like Ive said in my other post above as the teeth is just a tool. BUT If both animals have the same bite force, ability etc.. the animal with the bigger/longer tooth will have the advantage because a bigger/longer tooth will do more damage as that is just basic common sense logic hence why the size of a dogs teeth does matter to a degree.

Both Bobby H Samson, and the gyp Morfin had, had some of the biggest cutters I ever saw, it's like they belonged to A 70 lb. instead of A 30 something just huge and thick and they could use them.

I agree,,, some shutem down with wore or no teeth...
If you have the biggest set of strong pearly teeth and cant shut your mouth and or not effecient with the hold it really doesnt matter...
You might have small sound teeth or even frail broken bad teeth and only go to the soft spots...
Some like soft spots and others like sinking them to the bone,,, Il take a soft spot dog anytime...

Speaking of soft spot,,, sayagian and agian and...
I dont know if I should stop messing with you as you seem slow,,, I dont know if I should keep messing with you because you are slow...
BUT WHAT I DO KNOW IS YOU ARE VERY SLOW,,, put your helmet on so you dont fall agian,,, sayagian... and agian...and agian...and...
