I work a couple towns over, in Lawrenceville. Loganville is pretty nice, but look into Gwinnett County AC ordinances. Hope you're looking for a house! You won't find an apartment complex here anywhere who will accept pit bull breeds. Avoid looking in Lawrenceville at all costs! "pit bulls", as well as several other breeds, are restricted. The following is a ling to county ordinances you may find helpful. You'll have to download the PDF.
It'll be great to have another breed lover close by =)

How many dogs do you have?

My personal suggestion is get as far away from Atlanta as possible. (No offense to anyone from there...it's not personal. I like the city, just not the crazy ordinances popping up everywhere :))If it's not BSL then it's chain ordinances popping up. The AR folks are like vermin up that way. Trust me, I know. Though I don't know much about Loganville personally, it's just too close to Atl for me. I used to hate living in the swampland, but I'm loving this big/little town of mine more and more all the time. Land is cheap and nobody hates bulldogs...yet. :(

Edit** <runs to profile and takes city name off>

Dekalb County is our biggest "problem area" right now. Pit bulls were banned a while back, but they found it too hard to enforce and lifted the ban. Now they're laying out a proposal to restrict all pit bull breeds, mastiff breeds, GSD's, Rotts, Chows, Akitas, as well as a few others.
I agree that Atlanta is not the ideal place to raise bully breeds. I'd NEVER leave my dog outside alone for 2 seconds for fear of some low life stealing her or poisoning her. There are some crazy shady people around these parts. If one more gangsta thugs asks me "that a pit?" Ima freak out.

Where at in Loganville? I lived in Loganville in Newton County.

Loganville is actaully in 3 counties. Gwinnett as well as Walton and tiny bit in Newton. Gwinnett county has a no chaining law. Walton is considering one. There was none in Newrton where I lived. Now Lawerenceville has "special rules for "pitbull" type dogs.

Now if you go rural Loganville in Walton county you may not have an issue. But Yes in Metro ATL you will not find an apartment complex that will accept "pit bulls"

    Goodluck

Depends on where in Loganville. It is in Metro ATL. About 30 -40 minutes from downtown. But Loganville has city and country areas. Where I lived it was country. But I could drive about 10 minutes to the Walton County area (HWY 78) and it was City like. But the Walton area also has country areas. LOL You will see when you get here.

Now the ATL area i kinda under the radar with all that Mike Vick stuff. And it does not help with the Gwinnett Sheriff offereing 10,000 of his own money for pl turning in dogfighters. Which in turn is causeing ppl to turn on thier own mothers.

Also you will see how BIG Metro ATL is . It just not including the City of Atlanta. It includes about 28 counties and a population of 4.2 million.
