  3. Oh, I thought they already champed out. Did Heather say you (anyone) has to wait to move up to C of C until they get their Ch certs? Sometimes it does take a long time to get them :(. I have always bumped mine up when I go over, which is normally the following show they go to after they go over 100 pts. Once I accually bumped "Chase" up during the show. It was last year in Utah at their 4 show weekend. He came in pretty close to 100. He was still a puppy in 9-12 class. 1st day he took 1st place, BP & BOS under both judges Sharon Sundy & Sam Villiani that day that put him well over 100 pts. The 2nd day I bumped him up to C of C. He didn't get squat, but hell he was just a pup, oh well. I couldn't see not bumping him up, he wouldn't have gotten anymore points if I left him there in reg class, and I thought it would be wrong if he did place that it would take points for someone else.

I keep my show records on my own computer program, that way I can keep things straight. A couple times I've had to use that to straighten out what points showed up on a couple of my dogs in the gazette. :)

Yes Darla that is my signature......they just put a post up on the board about people calling them CH's when they are not......both need buttons for points so i have no problems calling them Ch's and explained that....but IF it offended anyone id take it down.....

Either way like stated on the other board they coming home champions....

When i checked with Heather they were in the 80's and 90's and i will show them regular class all 4 shows in texas......

Like stated on the other board still waiting for there CH certificates....which Cindy posted took a couple months ?!!!!!! Maybe when i get back from texas i can get the certificate for a Xmas present LOL.....that would be neat to get it around Xmas !

I kept all my show records in a lil book....and i havent seen it in awhile......stacia checked her house.... i checked the car, my box of show shit....i checked everywhere.....everything was in that book, food mixes, numbers, weights of my dogs at which shows, what shows i attended, just a whole bunch of irreplace-able information. All i have on the back of my ribbons is the judge sig i dont want to take them all down and figure it out. And Ratchet ate a couple of my ribbons on the ways home.....he rides free LOL and likes to destruct shit.

Sorry if the signature erks you a little...ill change it if you like :)

Do you have to wait until you get the cert to show in the CH of CH class? Mush is almost there and if all goes well might be a CH before the end of showing in TX. Would I show in CH of Ch if that happens? Thats what I thought but I want to make sure. . .

Nope doesn't irk me at all. Just find it a little strange that you call them Ch's if their not that's all.

Maybe if your lucky the points will be up dated in the gazette coming out this week and will you get the chance to show them in the Champion class after all. :D

Can i do so without there certificates ? These are the issues going around now on both boards. And if they make CH at the texas show can i bump them or keep them in the same class until 130 points ? I know alot of people in Canada still showed in the regular class after they had ch there dog mid show.

  9. Ang, I have never waited for a CH certificate to bump up a dog for the champions class. Who told you that? I have never had to show a certificate either. Good thing since I've never brought them with me, they're all framed at home.:D

After 120 u dont get any points, unless ur n the champions class. It dont matter about the certificate!!I waited for 2 years 2 get mine.Havent seen my Gr.1 or 2 and probably wont.Got told at nationals that it got lost n the mail.

Ok Charlotte.....so i can show the first 2 shows and get the points i need ? And then the last 2 shows i can show in the Ch class ? I dont need the certificate....they just take my word for it ? LOL And hahaha im not going to cart it around either....i want to frame it ! I was just told to keep showing them until your certificate comes in the mail, so thats just kinda what im doing. Im new to this so i dont know how it works and im getting mixed information on it to obviously. :o There sooo done after this show, retired to couch muttly's !!!! Just me and Ratchet next year and then nada......ive had enough of conformation shows to last me for a life time.... ill die a happy person if i never see one ever again ;) They will never place at any west coast shows up against yours, bnb, cindy and stacey's dogs.....but if you need 10 for extra points or another female to split the class ill come down.....they got my cell number

And Ray you had to wait HOW long ?!!!!

  12. I would try and call Heather at the ADBA and see where your dogs are point wise exactly with them that way you know what class to put them in for the weekend since it is a 4 show weekend. You don't want to go over and have points taken away, if you max out points I would put them in champions. I would think Texas would have a split class.

I have never had to show a champion certificate or even been asked. This is the first time I've even heard someone talk about needing one.

I always heard that if they got over 130 in reg. classes that was the cut-off. But I know a dog that achieved 138 in reg classes after big wins one weekend....

  16. It's going to be BIG show and GREAT time!!! You all get ready to enter the Judges Choice Tx. Heat APBTC has some NICE, NICE 48" trophies for that!!! Can't wait to see ya'll there!!

Its almost here can't wait you guys!!!

  18. I don't if you ever got ahold of the ADBA, they're phones are always busy. I thought I would give you some info if you weren't able to get through. I received my gazette today and was looking through it and saw Yesca is listed as a Champion with 107 pts. Wahoo :D Kicket is listed as having 88pts. The points in the gazette only go through Nationals weekend. So any shows you went to after that you would need to add the points for their placings. So Yesca would difinately need to bump up to Champions, I don't know how Kicket placed after nationals you'll have to add that up. I hope this is helpful.
