Lonzo Line

i know that there are good lonzo dogs out there like ABK said Sinful Sister was pretty nice. i would love one like a luni lonzo or a Bubba dog i heard about him 2. i heard joe black was a pretty good producer so there out there just have 2 know who u are gettin ur bulldogs from.but that lonzo midnight cowboy cross i couldnt pay the guy enough 2 sell me one he keeps everything 4 a reason.

 

I wouldn't really consider Ranger a Lonzo dog, but rahter a Panther cross, IMO. I'd love to get something inbred off his sire Axel. I also really like Johnson's Apostle & Johnson's Bear.

magno it wasnt the gazetee and panther was of a lonzo dog infact lonzo and panthers owner were good friends and better belive it is out there working but hey what do i know i only had this line and taked to both t.m. and l.p and owned some of both for like the last 8 years funny how there aint even many off these dogs alive in crosses or pure but i can think of some winners lol

 

From what I understand (& I could be wrong) but Tarheel Matt bred Panther & neither his sire or dam were Lonzo dogs or bred by Lonzo. Both his sire & dam were Lonzo crosses, Monzon being bred by Tarheel Matt & Little Margie being bred by STP.

According to his ped, Panther is about 50% Lonzo though, through his grandfather Mike on the top & grandfather Zebo on the bottom. BUT ... he still has the outcrosses through Sea Train & Thistle. As a result, I would think this would still make him a Lonzo cross, at least IMO.

Either way though, the Panther dogs do carry the Lonzo blood, should be considered Lonzo crosses & have produced some darn nice dogs.

monzoon came off lonzos yard if i rember right either way matt used to tell me bring one them lonzo crosses down this way and they were good friends i know that they both used to tell me old storys

 

thanks 4 the schoolin on this line. i like the line and will be lookin 2 grab a couple. panther,lonzo,or luni dogs. i like what i've seen online and in person. but i got 2 get it from a good breeder of this line of dogs i heard evo was good might have the name wrong still learnin but thanks 4real.

 

I could be wrong here, but Mr. McGee is listed as the owner of Monzon. His sire Mike of course was owned by Lonzo, but his dam is listed as owned by Rick.

So far as I know, Lonzo put his name on all the dogs he bred even if they went to other homes (for example Lonzo's CH. Buba who was owned by MBK etc.). If that were true, if Monzon was bred by Lonzo or came off Lonzo's yard, wouldn't Monzon be listed as Lonzo's Monzon instead of McGee's Monzon? Unless of course Mr. McGee farmed Monzon out to Lonzo or something. Not saying he was or wasn't I'm just wondering. :confused: :confused: :confused:

IDK, I guess we could ask Mr. McGee or maybe Dred Lok & find out. As I mentioned before, as far as I know, Monzon was bred by Mr. McGee & Little Margie was bred by STP & Panther of course was bred by Mr. McGee.

Either way, no matter who bred whom or who owned whom, I wouldn't refuse a tight Panther dog!

Nice looker indeed, spoke to a chap long time ago told me about the charlie klogger one. Klogger was ment tobe a decent dog himself. Appreciate you posting pic first time ive seen him, he had a litter brother who was said tobe a handful aswell.

Nice stance on him in that picture, got his eye on something by the look of things. Forgot to ask what was his brother called, was told once but was long time ago and my grey matter isnt in the best condition. Dont matter if you dont want to say as it has nothing todo with Lonzo stuff what this topic is about.

 

I owned some good Lonzo blood about five years back with Panther in the fifth generation and Zebo in the seventh generation and that was the best dog I every owned. If you know where the good working stuff is pm me and let me know. Dogs name is Boycheck's O.J.
