Just came across this.....I like it. Not sure if legal to hunt deer with catch dog here, but there are no laws that have been brought to my attention about using em on yotees

you can spot light any exotic game here in the US . but native game you better be asking the warden . pigs you can do but you need to tell them that your there doing it so they don't get a call and come to see what your doing .

Its not legal in the UK,but in the middle ages you'd get hanged and it still happened.

theres nothing like running deer with sight hounds.

@tyke,Hello mate,im not breeding lurchers at the mo im going to breed my Patterdale bitch,im looking at friends dogs to run with riffraffs,I have a few mates with bull x's and have allways loved the bulldogs and think then blend well into a running working dog.Personally i liked the Skipper bred type dogs,i like first x's but also with a touch of saluki.I have access to a well bred Sorrells dog but think he might be a bit stout?Theres pictures of him on site, check him out,Sorrells Reggie Kray.

Since that 9 out of 10 bull crosses are bred from shit bulldogs, you can get a decent deerhound cross that will be better. Nearly every lurcher around my area is a bull cross and the majority are owned by types who like a Macho looking animal and rarely test their animal week in week out

nothing wrong with liking how bulldogs look like.. macho or not.. so long as u r responsible.

you fellas really do keep it interesting, and real. Woke up too early this AM couldn't sleep. Gonna go walk the dogs in a bit. This is my cup o coffee in the mornin. I read above which line of APBT some used. I was wondering is they used some of the 1st American stuff, truest to form, and used that. These houndz im typin of are already designed to move and do it well. not knocking anyones work, just a curious question that arose in my mind. I am not sure this sport is ok here, and would not do take part, not knowing. Deer hunting is, and they let people run birds with dogs..and rabbits...interesting to look into.

@mccoypitbulls,the first x i saw was with Scotmans Max's litter brother so i'd say yes Bullogs in their trueist sense. As for the x looking macho thats just the nature of the beast, some peaple do get off on the macho look, thats human nature. There's plenty of other cross's that can do the same job equally as well, they should be bred for performance and there is a fair share of crap. They can narf take a bump though!
