you might be right cause these two went through hell aready.and still around.the thing now is she is not a brood dog.and that is why we got her,she got to earn her keep.i don't think i could stomache her ECDINN ANOTHER LITTER.

this happens more often than people say...some dogs actually EAT their entire litter...she might do it again, she might not. if this is her 1st litter she may just have gotten nervous...you will never know for sure till the next one...if she does it again I doubt you will breed her again cause that is a major pain in the ass. is she now nursing the pups or are you going to attempt motherhood? It is a PITA. Good luck.

A good option would be to wait til You have a brood that You can breed at the exact same. You can take the pups and put them on Your other brood. I have done this and if the brood is a really good mom she will take to them pretty good. If not trade her for a brood that You can be satisfied with if You dont want to bottlefeed the pups.

Might try to breed her once more either next heat or skip a heat. If she doesn't make a good mother for the next litter I wouldn't breed her again. Some bitches just aren't meant to be brood.

3 weeks and they haven't shit? Are you sure?
Use a warm wet washcloth to stimulate them like the dam should.
Did she eat them or kill them?

Just recently had a liiter. Father a bolio/tombstone, Mother jeep/redboy/rascal with a little hammonds. She had 11 and only one made it. Seems he's the only one she took care of.

Got any friends that have a bitch that is nursing a litter (doesn't matter what breed)? Maybe you could see if that bitch could take over til they are old enough.

How long after the pups were born before human contact

Females have been known to kill pups that have been touched by humans

A good rule of thumb is no contact untill their eyes are opened

And the brood bitch thing dont get sucked into that bs man
And how did she kill the pups
