North Alabama Hog Hunters

Hi everyone, I'm obviously new to the forum so I'm hoping for a little help. I have been very interested in hog hunting for a while but around here it's not very wide spread. Any help or contacts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Im in the Panhandle of Florida and would love to go sometime if your down this way or if there is anyone in my area....most of our hog hunting seems to be further south...

 

I'm in Huntsville and I know there isn't anything in my back yard so if anyone knows about some pigs within a couple of hours I would appreciate it.

Sounds like fun. I know there's alot of work that goes into hunting and a good dog is needed, but I'd like to try it someday.

Any folks from Cali do hunting with their dogs?

 

They allow hunting in Cali????? Just mess'n I got a good Black Tail buck some years back in NorCal.

 

this is old, but hogs are plentiful in the Phenix City/Columbus area.

 

Thanks eagle, I just spent a little time down there working at Ft. Benning. Too bad I didn't have time to get up with someone. I'm glad they're not here in north al. just because of what they do to the land, but on the flip side this is one sport I could really get into.

 

I agree. I'm about 30 minutes north of Birmingham. Would love to join!!
