Fucking hell he,s not that guy on ebay is he selling that huge collection of books and mags is he? He wanted thousands for it.i emailed him and tried to buy a couple of him but he kept stalling,said they belonged to an old friend,and he was selling them on his behalf,seem to remember him saying on the advert he would be prepared to swap for classic cars?

Well mate ,all i know is this Butcher guy supposed to have the best collection of bulldog books,mags etc in uk,im not saying he is the guy on ebay,just posing the question so to speak,something deffo not on level though,i remember thinking that after i contacted him,He kept stalling on prices etc.and at first he sort of tried to make out he didnt have any idea what stuff was worth.then he wanted crazy money,i thought at the time he was just a time waster.

 

I know someone who got all the memorabilia stuff.. Books, Mags, prints, collars, harnesses and photos of famous dogs, I mean this boy was a real hoarder! Every now and then he puts stuff up for sale on ebay with no intention of ever selling it, just gets a kick out of the interest generated when he advertises it, sad really! But if the person on ebay is not him, then it prbably will be Butcher coz they both equally as sick in the head!

 

You don't put something up for sale and not have some kind of price in mind. stupid a## peope.

Chief Inspector Mike Butcher has spent more than 30 of his 44 years with the RSPCA in the Society’s Special Operations Unit, tackling organised animal crime including badger baiting, dog fighting and cock fighting.
He has caught and successfully prosecuted key players in animal crime rings all over the country, despite receiving numerous death threats, including one from Irish paramilitaries after he worked on a dog fighting investigation in Dublin.
He is recognised as the UK’s leading dog fighting expert, after revealing it was still widespread in Britain in the early 1980s, despite being outlawed more than 150 years before. He was instrumental in the writing of section eight of the Animal Welfare Act, which is used to prosecute organised animal fighting gangs and his expertise is in demand from organisations investigating dog fighting all over the world.
Mike, who continued to work after being diagnosed with cancer in November 2014, receiving the all-clear this year, was also instrumental in the first ever travelling circus prosecution, the first hare coursing prosecution under the Hunting Act, as well as the only prosecution of a Hunt under the Act.
He is currently leading an RSPCA investigation into fraud and puppy farming.
