Pit Bulls with dew claws on back legs

Alright so I just noticed the stud dog I used to breed my female to has an extra set of dew claws on his hind legs. I didn't think anything of it at first. But out of my 6 pups, 1 male has extra dew claws on his hind legs. I know this can happen, but I've never seen it until now. After looking though some of his offspring, he has another son with dew claws on hinds legs. It really doesn't bother me because I'm not too big on showing dogs. Does anyone have hounds with an extra set?

 

To much inbreeding . More than what it shows on paper most of the time .

 

I had it in a litter about 10yrs ago....they weren't bred tight though.

 

If you wasn't the breeder of the line of dogs you don't know how they were bred .

 

I have seen it in other breeds a few times not something that would concern me to much.

I'd clip them. They can be a nuisance to the dog if he zooms around constantly

Niko look I have seen this in other breeds . And the breeders told me that because they were on the other side of the wall that they couldn't have a large gene pool . Now the wall has been down for years but you still see it in dogs that came from what we would call a mill . Most of it comes from what they call the black race now we call it the black market .

 

Well the stud is inbred on Boomer..if it really is from too much inbreeding.
