^^^ Makes alot of sense then kinda wobbly then good sense once again... TO many outcross to the wrong dogs an scatter and taint their sub strain with unforseen genetic issues.. Produce it out of your own stock, or dip back in the original strain or sub strain that had it... This is why any game strain crossed into colby works because most dont realize that yes breeding dogs is easy and we must remember that genetically It is wolf as the species and dog as sub species and bulldog as strain and sub strains of bulldog .. genetically this is fact. Mtdna and Dna has thousands of years of coding maintained and passed on... add this knoweldge (wisdom X understanding) with what your saying ^^^ and that covers every thing anyone could ask. ( we just have to say it all again in crayon)

"If and when you must add" is what I actually said, Found, so I agree. It's what I call a "fold back", in other words, back into the consistencies of your own dogs, providing they are remaining so. Did not mean KEEP crossing. I don't recommend such, as if you have to, you've lost something..............possibly a lot. IMO, the dogs will always tell you what to breed. One only need see it, know when they see it, and act upon it.
