Razor's Edge

Well Rhinna was posted as 50% razors edge. What does that mean? half her line was RE?

I had a pit before who had an impressive pedigree. Holbeche's , chaingang...all where in his and rather easy to research...but i cant find a blasted thing on Razor's Edge...She is a beautiful girl NOT too big or overly bullyish(if you know what i mean)

 

Assuming either her sire or dam was an RE dog, and not both... RE is a bully like, btw Your girl is still pretty.

 

Buy the pedigree from the ApBT to determine where the 50% comes from. For instance, if both grandfather's were 'Razor's Edge', the dog would be 50%. Doesn't have to be simply a parent....

 

RE is an American Bully line. American bullies are pit bull mixes. Usually mixed with mastiff,neo mastiff and/or american bulldog to make them bigger and wider. Allot of people don't consider them APBTs.

Bloodlines shouldn't matter much. It's what you personally like and It's the dog itself. I have seen some beautiful dogs with no history. If you want to avoid getting RE in your dogs ped I would ask first or go to someone who only breeds,loves and raises game dogs.

 

Well Rhinna is Spayed so its not like its a big deal plus she really isnt much bigger than my father in laws pit. She's beautiful to me no matter what.

LOL...but the Suzuki is at least capable of some real performance, unlike the case here.

 

I was just saying she isnt big like the ones i see on the websites..ive been researching and see most are american bully's. She's not built like them. I understand what this website is but to act all high and mighty and make smart ass remarks is NOT necessary.

DO you know how difficult it is in my area to find a breeder that is reputable and responsible? Extremely. We have mostly those RE lines(supposedly) and some ads screaming Gotti Lines. If I put in APBT, what pops up is the websites with those horrid looking monster dogs that look like they are on steriods or something. Thats not anything what Rhinna looks like.

The lines have become so diluted here its not funny. I would love to have some real breeders who know what they are doing to educate all these BYBs about what the breed standard is...but you cant cause they just wont listen. Im here to learn. SO far I have learned. I read older posts and find the information I need.

Is there anybody near me? prob. not.

I will be around learning more. Im a member of various dog forums, pit bull forums...even poodle forums..I never know what breed i may foster at any given time.

Hope you didnt take that last post wrong...Im glad you love you dog no matter what it is. Could be worse and you just ignored it and dont take care of it.....You on a site about gamedogs which is way away from what you have for the most part, and you are going to get some slack for it... Hang around learn a few thing, and see what happens then....So far Im impressed with you bc most will get on her get offended, get defencive, then tuck tail and run......

 

the only opinion about your dog that counts is yours.i personally like small game bred dogs but that's me .if you love your dog and it loves you and isn't people mean don't pay attention to what the loud-mouths on this site or any site say. after all they'er not feeding your dog you are

I honestly think those dogs on those websites are monsters. I prefer the apbts as they are supposed to be not huge looking freaks.
