One gyp was a dbl bred daughter of Garner's Hickson, one was a dbl bred daughter of H's Brick with an out of old school Kemmer blood and another was Earl/Earl Jr with an out of inbred M's Sundance.

One of the males I bred to was off the Frank White stuff with an out of Cottingham and the other was a tight one from the Epp stuff. All were offspring from these.

 

This is the reason I like what I posted, nothing fancy, just good dogs producing good dogs.

Nice. If you where to get a pup or young dog today we're would you shop at and why?

 

I will be looking for one come late spring/early summer. How I get it will depend on my Mother's health at the time... if she is doing pretty good I will come to the U.S. myself and bring a pup home with me, if things are not good I will just fly a pup in.

My options today are far better then all those years ago when I first started.

I am not looking to leave behind a 30 year legacy or to ever be a household name dog peddler. I am also not looking to build a yard again.

I am a single guy and this will not change, I have no desire to be sitting on some porch in 30 - 40 years watching my grandchildren play. My life I put on hold two years ago for that of my parents. Something I am only to happy to do. My only goal is to give my Mom the very best for her her remaining time...then I will return to the army.

So I am in a place where I can give one special dog everything, give him me 100% and see what comes of it. I don't care about making money, don't care about studding him out or earning anyones respect...It is simple something I very much enjoy and there is bleakly a lacking in things I find joy in.

For me the man/men the pup would be coming from would be as important to me as the dogs the pup is from. I don't need a litebright of a online ped either..just good solid working dogs from honest, hard working people is what I am after. A camp willing to part with one knowing it is going into good hands and as such will offer one from something they would keep and use themselves.

I have good friends in this game with very, very good dogs. One man in particular but for me although his dogs are among the best I have seen first hand and he would gladly give me my pick of a pup...well I have yet to see anything off of his dogs that have done anything...showdogs to the core, just not producers so far of showdogs and plenty of the offspring are of age. So the pup I am looking for would have to be off dogs a little older and are proven to be producing.

Other then that Stinkrock I am open. Doesn't really have to be from any particular line.

 

Sounds like you need a cull. It would be a win win situation... ijs... By the time you are ready, I may have one, I would gladly send you.

Just to clear my comment up... I have seen over the yrs, where guys get dogs(with good intentions), that are in the military. Then duty calls, and they wind up selling their hounds. One guy even had a ch. That's all, and my apologies for misunderstanding

As it turns out I had all or most of my dogs through my military carer. I am not a hermit and had friends and family care for them for the times when I was away. I have been out 2 years or so, what happen with me selling off was because my Mother was left with a lot of debt and no means to pay. I love the hounds but my Mother is my Mother and I did what I had to do. I DO NOT take nothing on without thinking things through, I am no novice Ladybug.
