funny enough Colby considered Jeep scatterbred not outcrossed.. By those standards a good portion of dogs these days are scattered.. .. .. some of the best bitches and dogs of all time were scatterbred.

Scatterbred dogs can be good like some of yall said some of the best dog have been called scatterbred but really are line bred anyway i have a male when i did not know any better peps told me he was scattered but as i learned and talked to real dog peps they sd he is line bred BULLET/ELI heavy RED DOG , most people call him a BULLET dog the person i got the dog from 10 years ago clled him a JEEP CROSS i have heard even call him a RASCAL dog, what do yall think a should call the cross dog men here is the 6 GEN PED http://www.bullypedia.net/americanbully/details.php?id=199671&gens=7 what ever you call him he is a good dog and produces good too!

Hound. Paper wise he should produce well (even though papers really don't mean everything)also.

 

Y'all use or ever used the Wrights coefficient program? It tell you the % of inbreeding in your dog up to 15 Gen back. Example...I got a Chinaman / little Gator dog. In 7 Gen he is 76% inbred. 10 Gen 79%. Pretty nifty program. Of course its tells you what percent of each dog is the genetic make up or blood in your dog. I think anything over 20% is considered linebreeding/Inbred. With using that I checked on alot of famous dogs...most of them where less than 20% linebred/inbred based on that program in a 4-7 Gen ped.

 

alot of European dogs are scatter bred..... They prefer best to best breedings. Any outstanding box dog will go into the program ahead of a family bred hound. But the whole population is from 3 or 4 lines originally.

Yea its Cali Jacks forum. Called The pit bull bible. Pretty legit site. That program is cool. If your dogs ped is not on it...you enter it yourself. And no bgblok68....that's more inbred than my little 76% inbred hound. Every body is uncle daddy on his ped! Lmao! :-p

If the dogs go back to the same stuff they are not scatterbred. Jus bc a dog isn't bred insanely tight or have the same dogs present a million times in 4 gens doesn't make them scatterbred.
