Should i start feeding more?

My bitch tore a few ligaments in her knee cap resulting in a bit of a luxating patella a few months back, was told to rest her and its much better mow but seeing as i did not exercise her during that time i cut back on the food.

Back to normal now and starting back up on the running/walking and a bit harder now shes about 13 months.

Tho just not sure if im feeding enough, shes solid but not fat, you just just see her ribs and the rest is pretty solid for a small girl, 21 kg

i feed inova evo kibble and the bag says 2 cups but i always feed about 1 cup only as its pretty rich, and only feed the kibble about 3 or4 times a week, other days its a few chicken carcass quarters and raw meaty bones, fish and some lefovers maybe once a fortnight.

any comments on what im doing or advice in the right direction

    cheers

if your animal is active like you say you should at least feed 2 cups not 1. she is around 46lbs so shes not a small girl.

I wouldnt put any unnecessary weight on her, especially with her knee problems. If she is maintaining her weight with the food and exercise you give her and you think she looks good, then stick with what you are doing. You see your dog every day so you are the one that needs to make that judgement call. If you need to add a little bit of weight then add some more raw chicken meat to the backs and bones you already give. I wouldnt add more kibble.

The left over she would get are steamed chicken breast and rice leftover from my meals at the end of the week, or some pasta.

And with upping the chicken would that be meat only or and if i just upped the carcuss amount would that mean to much bone??

Yes that could be meat only if you are also giving bones/carcass like you say. You could just give a chicken thigh too. Enough meat there for some extra calories and only a bit more bone.
It might be too much bone if by carcass you mean chicken backs. They are mostly bone. At least the ones I get are. Thats something that you would have to judge for yourself. But I wouldnt advise adding just bone if you were looking to increase your dogs wt. a bit.
