small dogs (35 lbs cw or less)

ive a yard full of youngsters that will all be very small, 1 or 2 maybe too small, i've already had a few enquires from terriermen for them. funny as the two studs used were 48lb ,49 lb conditioned. i think being born in large litters has maybe kept the size down .

a friend just gifted me this young male 32lb, he looks a lot bigger due to his rangey shape

 

ye , everyone makes mistakes ,, he won a time limit show against a 38lbs APBT ,,for a very good bet

 

It must have been a tough job on times back in those days to get them matched on equal terms ,especially a small one ,hats off to you dust!

 

Anybody still got the wheatons over there dust ,and are you familiar with the white cork dogs.They look the exact stamp of terrier my uncle and grandfather worked.

 

LOLOL why does some people think catch weigh is low weights ? There has always been small dogs out there . It's the big dogs that are catch weigh .

 

I think he meant chain weight if your talking about the OP.

 

yeah in the states maybe but not in the uk and ireland early 80s "lol".

 

Means the same thing here as it does there. I see people use it as chain weight too though which would most likely be what the op means.

 

Catch weight means , you don't need to weigh in, not top weight , the show with Charcoal was he could not come above 33lbs [ he was only a 30lbs dog ] the other dog a Mayfield bred dog called GAR , could not come above 38lbs ,,,

 

I know this is an old post. Do you still have your L.MTZ bred female? If so, how you have a ped on the one that you have? Thanks

I'll have to dig up the old pics but the squeaky frome dog we had topped out at 30 FAT on the chain. As a 2 year old dog she looked like a 5 month old pup

 

My dee dee dog(a few here have seen her) is a 31-32 lbs in shape but I am certain she's more of a 30-31lbs.
