I went to visit my some family over the weekend, while there, my aunt told me someone had the gull to come into the back yard and take her pup! Really?! Chain and all was gone. This got me to wondering about some of the famous dogs I know of that have been stolen back in the day like Crutchfield's Art and his sire. From what I know the fastlane is somewhat of a small world, so can you really turn a profit from from the theft? Hang papers? Ship the dog out of the country? How could there really be a refuge for a low life dog thief?

    Pissed!

Pit General was a great performer, and after he was stolen produced Gr Ch Midnight POR for Indian Sonny. So yea, occasionally it pays off.

Karma is a bitch and it will come back around. I 'm glad I moved out of the city and don't have many visitors. I had a so called friend that I found out later had stolen some of my dogs. At the time my dogs were getting stolen he came by and was smiling in my face. I wish I could've caught him with his hands on a collar or coming over the fence.

Some dam friend, to take someones hard work that might have taken them a life time to produce is a low life piece of shit.Someone needs to put a bullet in his ass for that. How do they profit from it well some steal the dog because they know he's going to produce well.So they keep the pups and hang papers on them. This another reason why we have dogs with false papers and the bloodlines are polluted.Thats as bad as guys that breed dogs and put different papers on them.

  5. That bullshit been going on forever. I bought a pup of a kennel in the 90s raised outta her for yrs got a call one day from a real dogman asking me how the hell I had a pup outta his Ch dog with papers after he was stolen, long story short I give him a brother sister even though I didnt have anything to do with it and weve been partners now goin on 4 yrs. The kennel went up north to his yard they looked at some dogs left, the next morning 3 were gone. I also remember when I was kid my dad sickn a dog on a boys ass taking roosters off the barrels in the middle of the nite. Put some work into it and breeed your own instead of takin what u dont deserve.

stay in dogs long enough & eventually something will happen. i had a pup off ch emmit get stolen 3 days after getting it to my house. put him in the back yard to run around. went to the 7/11 that was 5min down the road came back & he was gone. folks didn't even know i had dogs because i only had a house dog & a pup on the yard at the time. i still drive around the area where he was stolen.

  9. Must low lifes dont need much to sustain themselves and their risk reward equation is much different than yours and mines. Guys also risk there freedom stealing mercedes benzes and then selling them to chop shops for $750. Which I think is much much more risky than stealing a dogs

The Abpt in S.C. is the highest theft dog there is. A bunch of Low Life Scum running around stealing Our pets. I would think about chiping in this day in time or Dogs.

Problem is some dog people have been doing this kinda crap for years,(in some circles it was and is an accepted practice, seldom talked about but often laughed about) or inform other scumbags on when and where to be. You think people wont buy dogs off stolen dogs, even if they knew it was stolen? think again sure they would and do. There are many out there who crave fame and fortune at any cost, esp if they are not paying. In the past there have been known dogmen who stole and even rubbed dogs and people knew it, nothing was ever done, so why would it change. I would doubt that there are random dirtbags with no dog connections out there stealing dogs esp good ones(sure maybe every now and then) but I believe most of the time these thefts are inside jobs JMHO

I had a litter off Stricklands Nailor, 11 pups in the litter. She raised 9 and 5 got stolen. The worst feeling in the world is to see your hopes, dreams, and hard work taken away by a fucking thief. I believe in carma so I know that piece of shit got his. He's just lucky he didnt get it from me, because I would have killed him. Nothing worse than a thief.

a real good buddy of mine had a 2x winner off of frisco that some body stole from him. he had produced some great dogs before he was taken. i just hope that the gutless 2bit piece of bulldog sh#t made himself sleep better at night.

buddy of mine had a white with a patch or two apbt. No papers but it's def. game. He stays in the garage and the landlord came in to go into his place and tried to shew the dog away, and got bit. Hard. Even with spuds on the chain outside if he don't know you, your not stealin him ha. Bud if you do know him he's awesome. So he's not human aggresive he's just protective and was never "trained" to be. I wonder how these other dogs get stolen so easily?
