Some in NZ want to ban SBTs

More Bull shit legislation on the way. Notice that they are calling for a ban on Staffy cross dogs. So the witch hunt will target not only SBT but look a likes as well. Then they will draw up pictures like they did in Victoria for how to recognise an APBT and issue them to animal control officers. Reason being there is no APBT DNA in the data base in Australia. That is how dysfunctional the people are that make these laws. Pressure from sensationalist, biased media reports targeting bull breeds and some of the best breeds of dogs you will ever meet will become history. I really don't think it will happen in Australia though. Staffies are one of the most popular breeds of dogs here. They have a lot of support because that many people own one. Even if they are the fat little barrel types they still have the staffy grin and the full on enthusiasm that make them loved by just about every one. Hope New Zealand's SBT remain safe.

 

The only legislation they should be talking about is banning backyard breeding and a license to own.

 

That's government saying what you can have and what you cannot have it total bullshit.

 

This is terrible.. why was this girl left with 4 dogs alone!! Its so wrong they want to ban these kinds of dogs! I'm currently trying to find one as a family pet, as I already have a red nose pitbull which is the best kind of dog I have ever owned.

This was horrible, what gets me is all the media ranting on and on about how the dogs where owned by responsible owners so there for it must be the breed of dogs fault. I can not believe that throwing a young child into a yard with a pack of dogs (of any breed) is considered a responsible thing to do.
