Springpole work

    Some pictures from today. I rigged up a springpole in the yard and let him have a go. He's a good worker.

    you need to get a bigger piece of hide . or if that 1 will open up more . the dog grabs the rope almost ever time . you don't want to loose a tooth . and he looks very nice .

    No, that dog house was given to me but its a store bought one. My dog refuses to use it or any other house so far.

    Thanks for your advice. I noticed that too, but no matter what I use at the end of the springpole he always seems to want to grab the rope instead. Other dogs on the same setup will grab the hide. But I'll try a bigger piece. Also, the hide is now dried and hard, do you or others use anything to keep the hide supple?

    put the hide so he can barely get it . move it away from him . and the best springpole work is when they can get the hide and pull down and have all 4 feet on the grown . try it you'll like it better and it's safer .

    Usually just walk for an hour or 2, a couple times a week.
