I was involved that day and ex GR.CH. Bruno was handed back to his owner in perfect health 2 weeks after the show! It was me and my partner took care of him.. Also it was both acceptable and understandable for Springview to believe we were part of Scotsman's camp since he never met any of us before that day.

Not true! He never lost game against CH.Hagar, he took a seizure in his corner when it came his turn to scratch and I doubt he'd have gone over even if he could.. It's true he retired after though.

Surely that statement includes Scotsman's Tania?

There's a few good stories about that day.. I was there before, during and after and fair to say it was hardly a workout for Hagar, but fact remains Bruno recovered well enough to eat some food that night and he got handed back to his owner in good health 2 weeks later.. @ At Westway.. At best your source of information is unreliable , at worse he's a liar.

Pictured above is "Gr.Ch.Duke" who was the only Stafford to be registered as an official "Sporting Dog Journal" Grand Champion, there were others who were not reported, such as "Gr.Ch.Rocky" who was to have met "Duke" in a battle of the Grand Champion Staffords, but this never materialised."Duke" was regarded as one of the best ever,a talented, hard mouthed dog weighing around 32/33Ib.
