I know the bloodline just not those specific dogs or kennel.A buddy of mine had a chance to get one from that breeding and wanted some info

 

The 357 Butkus dogs are exceptional and i enjoyed a storey i read on the Jessie James dog,seemed nice with not too much Nico....

Stone City seemed ti have similar successful recipies as the Mayday and Hardcore dogs...
Only the Mayday and Hardcore dogs are bred on a solid stud foudation(ie,,Mayday,Redman & Bozack)...
The Stone City stud foudation is comprimised,as NIco quit against a true ADVERSARY,the ACE IBM...
Nico did produce well,but i dont understand basing a whole line on it???

City your looking for. They are known for breeding there
Top stud and doing right by there hounds comp. Wise.

 

I know the man that made that breeding.i heard buddy past grade school and starbuck has produce real good for them.i don't think you have too much to worry about.that is a well breeed hound

 

alot of lines are based on curs... and he lost to the "ace" ibm... so that isnt the same as losing to joe dirt

 

Pistola maybe you can explain how the Stone City foundation has been compromised? So what Nico quit, he was bred which means they wanted to see what he would produce. Being bred isn't being matched and Nico produced champions...more than four which is the reason he is a ROM dog! More importantly he produced when closely linebred which gives testament to his production ability and the strength of the family. Let me give you a lesson about performance and production, it's two completely separate things!

 

Looks like it could be a nice one. Nit sure about Buddy Roe, But Buddy himself produced some good ones. There was 2 out this way, both were good dogs. One is no longer, but it wasn't due to will, more of a judgment call.

Buddy was put up for sale recently, wouldn't mind as he has produced a few good dogs. But I feel more than satisfied with his son.

In other words, stone City built a good line based on the cur NICO who stopped agaianst the ACE IBM...
Another kennel( not saying any names bit est. in 1969) had a straight up killer that the ACE IBM absolutely feared and he used duck sauce on the compition picking and choosing champions to beat...
Now this straight up killer (no name once again but his backers didnt live up to the dogs name) evan in some of the best hands didnt really beat any titeled dogs worth mentioning...
So kiddies for shiz and gigz we will say he could have beat better dogs but???
The best ducked us and this particular dog was THE LAST of a good thing that went back in the wrong direction...

Let me clear up a little about Stone City Kennels. Jessie started it. He was a friend. I sent him one of his first champions a Turtle Buster dog named Stone City's Ch. Reddy.
Jessie called me and stated he didn't have anything to match the blood up with and he going to bring the dog to me personally. he didn't want anyone else to have him but me.
2 weeks before he came Reddy was attacked by a swarm of killer bees.

Jessie was hell of a nice guy. I like him and can't think of a bad thing about him........

I have news for you but there is dogs in IMB pedigree who was curs and untested.

As for Nico, same as Ch. Bo, Ch. Rascal, Bullyson, and the list goes on and on. Name one dog you ever produced worth a shit.
