Wait here lads i have heard on this forum many a time that looks dont count if your dog is for game ? what we have her is a KC (so called ) champion staff firstly if your into the short legged type then thats your choice but other s are into the longer legged type of dog more athletic type , but if we read back to where the staff originated from it was different types sizes came from different areas that was the choice of dog in certain parts of the country.

 

Staffs were all the cures that were given to being docile and given to the wives of friends in my day

 

here is onyx facial pic around 8mos. He has more of a terrier build than a bulldog build. Has a little longer muzzle and compact frame. Explosive and athletic

 

The short,wide staffs shown here are limited in a "working scenerio" due to such short limbs.Little to no leverage!Dont feel those dogs can be honestly bred for "work."They show people absolutely destroy the working capabilities of a supposedly "working animal."

 

Wanta elaberate a little on this reply?? What.. your undocile super game crazy ABPT who didnt have a brain was chained out to tree in the woods and knowone was allowed near it and only unleashed to go to a perticular meeting?

a lot of staffords look great "in good nick" until they are between 18 mths &28 mths .some folk crave for bigger is the best dogs ,feeding them crap ,i dare say under different ownership that tha showy one could be a different dog,,

 

most staffords look in great nick,when they are somewhere between 18mths &36mths ,some folks live in the bigger is best world ,feeding there dogs shit ,i dare say that under different ownership , that kc stafford could be a totally different dog .

Im not so sure about that.
In UK the stafford afaik is one of only a few breeds the kc has listed as good with children.
This saves the breed from BSL.The stafford will never be a banned breed in uk,because of kc.
Therefore any sporting staffs have some protection

SH**E the kc has not only F**KED up the staff but has done it with alot of good old game dogs of old , look at the british bulldog for example ? i had one years ago but what a waste of time dont live long have many health problems & all for money purposed that change hands in the kc circles , but i got my mate an old tyme dorsert bulldog (the way they should look like ) & the dog is now going on 4 years old now never had any health problems yet & a more athletic dog . as in with the staffs at present you go to one of these shows & if your dog aint what they call the right size ,lenght width then it aint a staff these are just 2 breeds that the kc have messed up , but if you want to go on in other breeds then there are many unhealthy dogs out their breed for money purposes that has messes the breed up & the good old kc do nothing to stop this this is the real animal crulety

I think What the pic above is showing is a Staffordshir Bull Terrier Right ?
American Staffordshires Have longer snouts and are taller at the shoulder.
I've heard alot of ppl thumb their noses at Staffies on here saying theyre not game Etc. Etc... I dont know how everone else's dogs are but MINES HOTTT !!!
She wont tolerate another dog. AND she was raised inside as a pet in a rich persons home with the formal obedience traning and everything. Its all in her blood.

 

The KC have destroyed every breed they get there hands on and in a short time frame too compared to the years it took to create most dog breeds , reducing the gene pool to the small number of dogs they have deemed correct because they prefer a certain look and disregarding anything outside of that regardless of health and performance what they have and are still doing is criminal and seem to be the same the world over.

i meant to reply to the main with the photos of the red dogs.. The black and Red dogs pictured To me look Like SBT or English Saffies .I'veowned one and it was a very nice little dog.Although how some people use them for agility is beyond me b/c he wasnt very agile.Nice dog... Friendly ,LOVED Springpole that was his only 'activity' BUT here in the US alot of "Bully style" mongrels are being passed under "staffordshie"and I think THAT is whats messing up the breed if anything here in the U.S.
