Tom Ratliff's book

Hi there has anybody read Tom Ratliff's book The Guide to Conditioning? Wanted to know if it worth the $$. Saw it for sale at a website but lost it.

He was selling the $100 keep book and a conditioning guide for about $50 3-4 years ago.

 

all and all it is a pretty decent book.has some good points and tips in it.i wouldn't pay over 40 or 50 dollars for it though.

 

all his books are great, I have his ped book, memories hopes and dreams and others I cant think of

Tom died not to long ago but I'm sure you can contact his son or wife and get his publications

 

anyone got info on the earl jr book put out by jordan and co?

$50.00 ....Yes sir that price tag was 4 years ago. If you would want to know how much is it now? It rocket to $150.00 on paperback.

WOW, I DIDN'T KNOW TOM RATLIFF DIED. I DIDN'T KNOW HE EVEN WROTE BOOKS. I KNEW HIM BACK WHEN ,AS "THE UNDERTAKER" ( BEFORE I HAD HEARD OF THE WRESTLER). I THINK THAT WAS HIS KENNEL NAME. NOT TO SURE ANYMORE. THAT WAS A WHILE AGO. $50 FOR HIS BOOK WAS A STEAL. I WOULD JUMP ALL OVER IT, LIKE " A HOBO ON A HOTDOG". HE WAS, AND IS A PART OF PITBULL HISTORY.ALSO ED FARON OF WILDSIDE KENNELS HAD A BOOK "THE COMPLETE GAMEDOG". A VERY INFORMATIVE BOOK. HALF OF THE BOOK IS LIKE A HOW TO MANUAL FOR A.P.B.T. OWNERS. I'M SURE TOM'S BOOK IS JUST AS INFORMATIVE. MY FIRST A.P.B.T. BOOK WAS THE BIG ONE BY RICHARD STRATTON. THAT WAS A MUST READ BACK THEN , AS WELL AS TODAY. I THINK "THE COMPLETE GAME DOG", WAS A MORE TECHINICALLY INFORMATIVE BOOK THAN RICHARD STRATTON'S . TOM HAS A REPUTATION ACROSS THE COUNTRY FOR TURNING OUT SOLID A.P.B.T.'s THAT PRODUCE THE SAME. $50 IS WORTH A PEEK INTO HIS KNOWLEDGE.

Tom's book has a lot of information specially conditioning and food keep.Its a must for you who wants to go deeper into the breed.PM me if you need to know more about his book.

I did not know Tom had died, could I ask how long ago? I'm sorry to hear this.

It must have been quite recently as I bought several books from him and his wife about a yr ago and he signed them all for me...

His wife is selling old bulldog magazines on ebay and has been doing so for a few years. I am not sure if I am allowed to put in her user name so I guess send me a message if you want to bid on those.

I do occasionally find copies of Ratliff's books for sale used, and I think I have a couple extra copies of some of them. He put out about 5 books including the Conditioning book.

 

I'm seeking the magazine with Morris Gr Ch Hammer on the cover if anyone has any knowledge on where I can find it

 

Anyone have his conditioning book?

 

Or a pdf of all his work?
