That's a good point c_note, but I believe it has to be 'up close and personal'... I saw some of them show tapes .. Harvey Wallbanger, Tornado, Banjo Black Mup, an Ozzie Stevens dog (forget which one) Hooten's Headhunter etc. and all the dogs looked about average, most of the tapes I never even watched to the end.. Obviously there was nothing average about the dogs.. I just think you need to be there to appreciate a dog's true ability and gameness, and sometimes if you're lucky, you might get to witness and learn from the knowledge talent, humour and gameness of the owner too.

 

I seen zebo go for almost 2 hours on tape, he’s my number 1 pick. Who’s your number 1 pick?

The way I see it is if you were not there in person, video is the next best thing, right?

Respect to gr ch El Titere though, definitely a true great . Hard to argue against him being #1

 

I can agree TOTALLY! I saw Tornado, Lukane, Gr Ch Holly, roadblock Joey, bad rosemary, garners coco, a ch or gr ch European dog from yankee I believe(ended in MINUTES pit kill from rearend holt), ibm, and others I know I’m forgetting! A LOT of European dogs before they shut down “Russian YouTube,” that’s what we were callin it!! Like you said, the quality was so bad on the legends the dogs looked average. Holly, rosemary, and coco were clear as day. I could see exactly what they brought to the table! A lot I just watched hoping to make out some action. The Euro stuff was CLEAR as it was waaay more up to date but I don’t know those dogs nor the language!

After saying that. Most of the dogs I’ve seen were average to a tick above. Nothing too special, some decent ones worth a bet.

 

Question.. Why did Lonzo Pratt sell Zebo?
Answer.. Because his brother (Vindicator) was better!
