VGK's Poncho

Anyone feeding dogs off of Vise-Grip's Poncho, and how are they working out? Post pics if you got 'em.

Thank you, Deniz. I have been following that thread also, but decided to start a thread specifically asking people who have the dogs. I know there's quite a bit of controversy over CA Jack and his dogs, so I want to keep the opinions of him and the rumors out of it. This way its black-n-white; either you have his dogs and you like them, or you can honestly say from first hand experience you've given it a try and you wouldn't recommend one.

And I'd like to see 'em cuz I love those compact little dogs

 

I'd like to see some poncho dogs also. Does anyone have any?:confused:

 

I know someone who had one and he said it was the best little dog he ever had.

Had one didn't like him
but he produces very well for the guys that got him after me

 

the controversy started with Fat Bill changing the show report that was sent in his magazine due to personal issues with Jack and Hollingsworth. The Journal and Terrys magazine published the actual report sent in without change. The Facts

Poncho was challenged straight up to come down to the heartland and jack never answered, what kind of dogman would turn down an opportunity to go into the best which at tht time was the carolinas texas lousians etc poncho was a second rate dog at best, and his owner is a first rate retard who never did nothing except peddle dogs. can the dogs be good ya if real kennels got them but not in jacks hands.

 

He is a good guy at times and when he knows u seem like u think he is ok he is a ass. I told him his line did well crossed into yellow he said BS it stands on its own.I pointed out al the winners off single breedings on the cross he said his dogs made the winners lolol...Im talking to Big John etc.I got my thug bitch I plan on taking to my poncho male if the dog gods are good to me.

 

Only poncho dog I ever had was pretty rank, but she didn't come from Jack.
I'd run poncho dogs as long as they were HEAVY coki blood, or crossed with the mayday blood.

The ouch/coki stuff I had was FANTASTIC. look 'em up. I think Ouch woulda produced much better then poncho had he been bred as much.

Coolio (ouch's littermate) produced for GCK.

I too believe it was the crosses that carried the stuff the most - The Coki blood, Mayday blood, and RB/J blood... but thats personal belief.

This one is more Ouch and Bandana than Poncho. Techno himself is right off of that excellent breeding. With some of the good Mayday/Poncho blood in there as well.

From what Gamester has told me Techno is producing really well. His litter was very, very good.

I wouldn't mind owning some myself. looks aint everything but i havn't seen and eye sore yet. if i can have a yard full of dogs that wreck shit and look that damn good i would be happy. I would be happy if they were ug mugs too but it wouldn't hurt , them some good lookin dogs.

Ya i agree i usta check his site all the time years ago and it sure did seem like he never had an ugly one lol!!!

 

i looked at his site like twice. the price turned me off. I'm sure i will run into someone working the blood that aint all about there pocket so i will wait till then.
