What's really the big deal about the chain out or brood pen?

I mean really what's the big deal? I mean I don't understand. Even the reactions on the crate. Ok I thought the chain out was a relief or own home and place of business for the dog. I'm not talking about a chain so big it truly is killing them, but an ample 1 for the dog. You just can't handle these dogs on bicycle chains or tie downs from wal- mart. I for 1 don't trust the o ring on the collar so what's wrong with a separate o-ring thru the collar....welded 1. I thought these were attempt of responsible dog owners to confined our animal no matter the breed. For 1 i don't want mines to bother others if roaming and left unattended while at work or something...I MEAN THEY ARE PITBULLS.
The brood pen, I thought kept my b@!!# h from strays during there heat cycles. Also a nice cozy place for mom and the pups, off the ground . Clean silky shiny coated pups.. Not ant bit, mite covered, flea bitten pups. The crate, spare me my dogs love it ,they are closer to family... C'mon Man. Kennels are cool but they seem to eat straight thru them no matter how long it takes sometimes. I'm thinking cable run but they chew on those as well. So how do you all feel about this chain and axle deal.

I think everything said is a great idea and that's how I do it. Unless you're with the humane society, than its cruelty.

I don't get the point of the topic? Must have missed something. There's nothing wrong with chaining, crating, pens or kennels. Each has there purpose. I would not recommend using the collars D-ring either as they can be pulled open letting the dog loose if you got one that likes to slam the end of it's chain regularly.

The point of the topic is PITBULL owners are always getting clowned for a dog on a chain. Oh he is mean now, oh that chain is making him crazy. Even heard oh u feed raw meat and he is on the chain, all the sudden he is a beast. BS, I say it beats a 6x4 coffin kennel. At least they can take a dump and not run all over it. Point is also to educate the uneducated.... Whom ever they are.

If you spend your time worrying about what others think and say it leaves you with less time to enjoy your dogs. Take people's opinions with a grain of salt. Most Pet owners will not understand the methods we use with this breed. They never will. They would prefer to see a fat dog laying on a couch dying slowly of obesity than a fit active chain dog. Just the way it is. Learning to ignore people and their opinions on your own personal matters is a quality well worth practicing for ones own sanity.
