Wow found this post pretty interesting, I remember FF from many years ago, he ran that old Stonewall forum. I am not taking any sides here although Stone Shark and myself are pretty good friends.

My partner and I sent the African dog to Frank - I was aware of the breeding of Rickson to Lola, I dont know the details but I have seen comments on Feds online peds and I decided to login here and have look at what I could find as I was interested to see what the beef is about. I actually own the Red Thunder dog off of Thunder x Rosalini - I am fully away of many of the "low" quality dogs in the bottom side of the pedigree. We all know was not a 2xw and was a very low quality dog that should never have been bred. We also know that Frank keeps lovely fat dogs and breeds them nothing else.

Willy White produced a few good ones state side and was sent to Italy where his production really kicked off, he put down really high quality animals for those guys but with the laws in that country things had slowed down and they have had to keep everything very much underground. Lola and Mojo we probably would never know their quality - if FF does know their quality I welcome a PM. When my partner was in Thailand he was hosted and spent lots of time with Stonee - he was a member here - Jeff Stone RIP - He knew those dogs from Desert Rat really well, he confirmed what Ford said about all them cur's but he said Rickson was a good 1 and earned his spot on the yard. He told him how that Nigerino x Leroy x Daphne produced to many curs ( this is what happens in these dogs - they are either game or cur ) but when you find a good its really good and game.

As far as I remember Ford got a pup or 2 off that Rosa breeding - my memory is fuzzy regarding that as it wasnt something I really put much thought into it.

Again I am just going by what is listed on Feds online esp given his rant about GUS and the low quality dogs in his pedigree, so I dug a bit and found this.

Maybe I am missing something but if these are such low quality dogs why use them ? I know for a fact the male sent to Oz got his oil checked real hard and his a bad mofo - my little male is the real deal and offers our Stonewall family exactly what we have missed. I have seen footage of more than 1 dog with Rosa in that 2nd and 3rd generation, those are some real deal dogs. Out of the 1st breeding with my little male ( he was bred to my cur house dog ) so far we have 3 out of 5 that has been checked ( 2 quit ) and 3 have not shown 1 bad sign but time will tell. We have 3 more that have not yet started school but there is no rush, 2 that quit started early.

Anyway again without taking sides this just sounds like some sour grapes, I know ol Rocca is not everyone cup of tea. We did dealings, we sent him a dog and he sent us a dog in return. All in all with my experience with these "new" Stonewall dogs their percentages are not bad - there are some really good ones in the deep south, I try and keep updated with the few that compete and so far no complaints. The only real complaint is that 1 or 2 are cold but that comes from the tested bitch we sent, her mother seems to throw a high % of cold dogs but we no longer use that side.

But do not go discrediting folks dogs you know of or the way they produce bro, it sounds like a bunch of sour grapes to me. I like what I have seen and I have seen more than 1 - this coming from a team that has done the international thing and we plan to do it again.

Rickson died in a yard accident not long after I declined the offer to get him. Many who saw him down there were impressed with the old dog. I actually have the last pup he produced. StoneShark Kennels Little Frank. Pretty much like his Sire.

While Brett has his opinion, it seems to rarely incorporate any fact. As for the Little Stonewall breedings He has done. The owner of that animal was quite miffed at seeing the peds of breedings that never have, nor never will happen. I find it funny how a dickrider gets thrown off and now the dick is tainted in everything He does. Instead of worrying about my yard, and what I am doing. Or others yards and what they are doing, maybe the focus should be on his own. The poor me angle is played out.

Dunno about this beef but seems there is old rust there...only thing I can say is my friend got a willy white’ daughter and I got his granddaughter alligator/stonewall and they were both game to the bone. Also know another one out of stonewall x willie Mae who is a very good one. I love the blood and I will take it again but, no disrespect, not for this prices for diamondback straws or puppies
