Looks good. Just listened to Coach Saban. A person would think Alabama was down 28-0. LOL

Cooked chicken halves on the grill tonight. 22 halves. We had big family gatherings this weekend and a couple of weeks ago. I am starting to think when I light the fire barrel it opens up the clouds and the train pours.

We did not eat til after 8 tonight waiting for the storms to pass thru this afternoon.

    Turned out nice, just late.

I had several beers so not sure exactly how long it took but it was a few hours .Pull it when the internal temp reaches 190.Its a hard peace of meat to cook Size.Idealy you want to cook at a low temp 225.A big peace of meat will stall around 140 degrees internal temp.Patience ! At 160 internal temp I wrap it in foil and jack temp up in my smoker to about 300 degrees and pull it off at 190 internal temp.As far as a rub just a salt and pepper based rub.I cooked it on my smoker and used some Mesquite wood for smoke.

  7. Yeah,it is a hard piece of meat to cook.I haven't had it for about a year tbh.but seeing you have cooked some made me want it again lol...I'm not fortunate to have a smoker lol.(sounds awesome)just put it in a oven over here.same as you just salt and black pepper.and cook it slow for hours..I normally make a good gravey out of the fat with ale or stout........when it's cooked right.it's one good piece of meat.

Left over Brisket, corn, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, peas few string beans.Salt ,pepper a bottle of Heinz 57 catsup ,brown sugar..Smoked Brisket is what makes it good. Its usually a lot of smoked meats but I'm just using Brisket.Folks around here love my Brunswick stew.

  20. yeah I bet that's the real deal that bacon...exspensive.but I think some good meats are.and I'd rather pay the money if I'm gonna enjoy it.rather than buy shit and throw it in the bin...sometimes you can't compromise ya know.
