Who really is the sire of gr ch zebo?

My opinion is.. everything you hear about zebos background is false...vindicator isnt his belly mate.... i believe eli was the sire of zebo...thoughts

 

How is establishing this going to affect the dogs currently infront of us? We can speculate and offer our opinion based on what we heard or suspect, but how will we offer up proof? Just like some believe that Eli is off Cry Baby and not off Floyd's dogs. Without dna proof we decide based on whose story convinced us the most or who we favour.

 

Ngamla ...I know floyd personally...eli is off the blind Billy dog....blind Billy was off of dibo....now listen....eli a 2winner was sent to Tennessee for a breeding to one of Floyd's friend...eli was stolen in Tennessee...zebo came on the seen a couple yrs later...zebo. supposedly the only black dog in a all red litter...this is Floyd's personal belief...zebo looks and acts like a boudreaux dog ...hard mouth strong as fuck...killer ..typical boudreaux dog...he told me he bred to zebo twice and mixed well with his stuff in the yard...whys is that...floyd said its because zebo came off his is eli dog...cant prove it ..its his speculation...didnt skip a beat when bred to his stuff...zebo wasnt known as a producer just a phenomenal dog...that's why the zero strain isnt a strong strain today...

 

Now who was eli really out of? Lol

 

Well if your really concerned. Here is what you do... remember half the magic of the breed in most times...was a cover up. That's the magic...science can help but people will always try to pick apart breeding's. Colors. Traits.
I have an uncle. He has black Angus. Every so often a red one comes out.
People are strange.

I thinks it makes no difference now what way he was bred , but according to the pedigree for Zebo , his sire is black , and he is also bred down from Dibo and has Dibo in his ped 3 or 4 times, it should well click with Blindbilly dogs ,,

Nothing wrong with Eli dogs, but Lonzo Pratt didn't need or breed them! Too many Zebo stories and little respect or knowledge for the man who bred him.. Lonzo bred more good dogs than Zebo, Mike was his favourite!

The men of the Carolinas was pioneers in the dogs.. Fletcher Chavis, Ralph Greenwood, Mr Mims, Tarheel Matt, Fat Bill.. Does anybody really think they care about them achievement stealing, respect robbing stories about Zebo being Eli bred?

@Dusty Road put it in a nutshell.. Gr.Ch. Zebo was 4 x McRaw's Snowball in 4 generations.. Snowball was a direct son of Tudors Dibo, of course Zebo blood cliclked with Eli since both were Dibo's great grandson's anyway.

Always thought Boomerang was before Zebo's time. But dont think it would have been as cut and dried like you make it seem. Boomerang was a killer himself.

Personally I don't care if people think Zebo was Eli bred or Mayfield or sired by a Beagle! Just wish they'd give old Lonzo some credit for breeding and raising the dog. He wasn't a puppy peddler who got lucky with Zebo, he campaigned dogs with the best that was out there!

Whether Baker Davis declined a showdown with Zebo and Boomerang I can't say? Somehow doubt it though, but Vindicator was close enough to the heat to get noticed.

Eli was stolen....can everyone agree on that...never heard from again...no telling what they did with him or who they bred him with....I know eli is in alot of top bloodlines today.....no disrespect to the Carolina guys...but this is a cutthroat atmosphere ....art was stolen eli was stolen who knows who did what....again tho floyd cant prove anything it's just his belief
