It would have to be an accident because the damage those two could do,you could lose both easily or at least one for sure.Adams wouldn't have rolled them against each other because he had nothing to gain.

Lonzo liked Vindicator better then Zebo also. When I say Adams wouldn't roll Art and Zebo on purpose , that it would have to have been an accident because Adams wouldn't risk losing one or both. But if Adams liked Zebo better thats his choice and his dogs.Zebo was a hell of a dog but he would not walk through Art.Adams knew that and the damage Art could do also.If Adams knew Zebo was better then why roll them?So what happen during the roll?Anybody really know?

I can only dream of owning both of them at the same time. What a problem to have ,which one do I want to use in a match. Wish I had that problem.

The stuff about Rascal and Snooty was written in a magazine and reprinted not long ago.I know Snooty lost but I thought he didn't quit. But Hyde left him there to die ,instead of taking care of his dog. Adams was also a gambler and rolling two dogs of that caliber wouldn't prove nothing unless u let them finish.Yes I know about dogmen rolling ch and GR.Ch just to prove a point. That is stupid unless u are doing it for testing purposes for breeding. But to roll two dogs of the caliber of Art and Zebo would be foolish unless the dogs was owned by different parties .Just because dogmen did something doesn't mean it was a smart thing to do either, some didn't have any common sense either.

If Snooty quit twice why did Woods breed him so much? Just curious, did he say why.Snooty did produce well.I remember a while back in the 80's articles was written on Snooty and someone responded with the title tired of Snooty in SDJ.That started a bunch of crap.Do u remember those things that was said? Somebody did mention that Snooty quit. But I thought it was hearsay.

Weren't Zebo and Vindy rolled with Zebo showing to be the better of the two? I don't doubt Art and Zebo were set down that's just the mentality of dogmen, that was the purpose of the animals to them. He had two bad ass dogs, one he may have liked better than the other and decided to find out rather than tuck them up under a pillow. They aren't thinking too valuable this or that where you're projecting your own ideas. Everytime a dog is set down it is with the understanding that it may lose its life regardless of who it's between because anything can happen. These men understood and respected this fact. Sure a good or great one may get lost but you move on and keep scratching.

You read people say if things were legal I'd test this one or that one or let him/her "prove it's worth" but I'm not sure many really want to know. Could stand there and watch their couch buddy leaking and then ask it to go across again. It's not a game for the fleeting of heart and it brings out truths in everyone involved.

I guess the old saying about the blood behind the dog was also important no matter if the dog quit.I heard about Snooty quitting .I thought it was rumors like I said at the time.I never really cared much to really ask or find out about Snooty.Snooty did produce well . Adams did pay a small fortune for Zebo ,and Art was known as a bad ass dog also. Guys did a lot of things that was stupid. You might say that it wasn't about losing one, or both. To say well its a game for the not faint of heart that is true. But also when your dog has done all u have asked, and u see he can't win because he's over matched, u should do the right thing ,and pick him up.I can see and understand losing a good dog in a match but to just roll two of the best that have already proved themselves into each other is foolish. If its about proving something then condition both dogs and match them into each other and let them finish the match. Then u know for sure.Vindy and Zebo was rolled and made a mess of each other.Lonzo said he like Vindy better when asked.Does that mean Vindy was better no?I personally if I owned Art or Zebo I would have mortgage the house on either. Since u know a lot of first hand knowledge of Zebo what did Adams say Zebo was like to work? How was Zebo condition for his matches when Adams had him?

it has nothing to do with a couch buddy there is no point in itprove what both dogs already proved there worth only a fucking idiont would roll those two dogs with the idea in the back of there mind thast one might die and if i remember correctly adams was a piece of shit so i would not doubt that he did not care. you may set one down noing one could lose its life but if this sport was conducted with respect and by men instead of by insecure little girls who cant take care of themselves never mind dogs death is a rare occurance hell when a man can set down over a 100 dogs and lose only four than i call that rare. the sad truth is many fights go much longer than needed because some fool actually thinks he has a chance so instead of picking up and allowing the dog to make one more scratch the let it go to long and say well he was game well who gives a shit hes dead and he aint no good

Well, maybe both stories are true. Snooty could of showed game in a show, and thrown game offspring. And quit at another time. Wouldn't be the first time.

Gr. Ch. Art------As for the Polar Bear show, it wasn't that great of a show.It wasn't Art hardest show. The handler just didn't want to pick him up because he had an on going skin problem that wouldn't heal.Art had him beat early. Art killed him and then started to eat parts of his body.Art took a chunk out of Polar Bear's back and swallowed it.When David bought Art it was agreed he would not be put at public stud.Art had lost in TX. With Mr. Bullyson handling, he was fouled out.Art went back to where he came from. o:-)
