Why Can't I Post???

There are some threads that I can't reply too and I was just curious as to why? I keep getting this message:
jadedpitgirl, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

 

I'm getting the same message. I bet its user error on my part.

 

Neither of you should be getting that message unless you're trying to post in forums that you can not post in.

 

Probably you are trying to reply to a newbie question.

 

Im new to the community. Where do I go to post something new about my pit?

Actually, it was on a new member's thread. He was asking about anal glands and ear problems:confused:

 

I have the same problem sometimes. When you scroll down to the bottom of the page where it tells you if you are allowed to post. It usually says yes but doesn't let me.

 

Only moderators can post on the newbie thread. However if you have information for that person you are allowed to PM them that information. Or feel free to start your own thread on that topic if you feel it is something that we all should know,

Why does it say at the bottom of the page that you can post but then it won't let you. Someone please help.

Under your name it says "awaiting activation" I think you need to activate your account before you can upload pics and post in some threads.....you should've gotten an email with a link to follow to activate.......check in your junk e-mail folder, it will sometimes end up there.
Not 100% sure about that, but I think that's what the problem is.
