pups linebred on mayday or mayday/buck are sold for a high price even the dogs of todays mayday family for top dollar but dam mayday or mayday buck takes the cake for the highest paid blood sold to anybody who got the money just my opinion

I loved the Chinaman x Nigerino stuff of course the Bandit. In the early to mid 90's WSK bred some good hounds. As for Rapid Roy being ROM, i saw plently directly off him and only 1 was a good dog maybe there were more i don t know. Actually getting a pup down thru the Roy stuff. Plently of good ones left from both lines just gotta know where to look. Yis Ole Man

lukaine, barracuda, maymay, noriega, 600, haunch, etc. mayday produced a lot of top of the food chain dogs. game, ability, strong, very durable dogs. look at the record for some of these dogs and who they beat. if you are talking strictly performance mayday is one of the best producing dogs of all time.

True but you put out 10,000 pups any dog will throw fire. Dont take it the wrong way I love me some Mayday, but Victor did a hell of a job getting the Mayday blood established. Same for Jeep. But all these topics have been hit before.

i don't believe that. there may be some good ones but there aren't many dogs that produce the caliber of maydays best dogs. not to shit on ed, but what dogs from his kennel have done the things some of these mayday dogs have. those were top of the food chain dogs.

lets not forget that dogs like Mayday, Cuda, Haunch, etc... hunted at weights far above where the better comp was (50 and under). Not hating on the giant game dogs and people can chose and own what they want to feed, but the fact is the better comp isnt 55 pounds and up ;) . Maybe they were top of the food chain in the giant game dog world.....

Also I dont keep up with the dogs anymore. But back in the late 90's and early 2000, Victor ran the market. I was also a customer with great results. Never got dogs from Ed. Also fast lane in those days you were defenitly going to find yourself looking across the square at one of his pups LOl sometime you both had his pups! LOL. Thats how many. Hell he would beg and plead with you not to go into brothers and sister of Mayday if you were on the hunt with his pups. Thats a fact!

not all maydays offspring were above 50 noriega was in the upper 40's maymay was under 50 600 i believe was under 50 the difference between the 2 kennels is wildside based their yard on a couple different dogs and victor for the most part based his off either mayday or his dam dolly and lets not forget maydays sister was concidered by most to be the best 42 pounder at her time and thats a really common weight and yall keep sayin he had a ton of offspring cause he was bred alot well from what victor told me mayday averaged like 4-5 pups a litter he didnt throw big litters and i cant think of any dogs wildside ever had that threw box dogs like mayday did he was bred alot for a reason lol

i mean really i cant think of any dogs from wildside that could be compared to noriega and maymay or even close to em

Well I have had dogs from both lines I have hd 3 dogs straight from victor off mayday. And To be honest my wildside Crossed dogs would (did) and still would eat my old maydaystuff. Think what ever yall want but I have seen and we got rid of our mayday dogs for a reason. And Just though I only got three from Vic does not meen A shit load came threw the kennel. I myself never thought the mayday dogs were never going to make it as big as they did, at the time we had dogs off GR CH RODNEY and those were First class dogs they were DEEP game dogs with it all. But it seemed as though Victor was a WHOLE lot better Premoter. At the time I would have thought That Rodney would have killed mayday in the Broodstand But MayDay was Premoted 100 Times better and thats a fact, They are good dogs and if you get a good one they are good as any, But they are No better than ANY OTHER strain out there Not at all. They are competive dogs IF you get a good one Just like every thing else, You Just have to be willing to put up with a lot of bullshit from the mayday strain.

Oh thats easy Rodney wasnt really online lol remember mayday was just gettin into his stud career while the internet was just gettin big hell thats the funniest part about this thread to me when i first started gettin online and lookin for kennels the very first 2 i found was wildside and southern kennels lmao i would have loved one off rodney btw plus mayday was also advertised in the journal i dont remember ever seein an add for rodney but that might have been before i was into the dogs as really rodney was around before mayday im pretty sure?

You missed the point, most of Maydays claim to fame was in the weight where most didnt give a shit at the time. Who other than Tant was even trying to breed giant game dogs? People will always say that mayday and Tant were going into each others stuff a lot in the beginning and thats true, because no one else was producing giant game dogs!
Now, if you breed enough you are going to get some pretty good, and maybe a couple great dogs just by chance, and out crossing.
While I could list names of some comparable Wildside dogs, I'm not for the simple reason that if someone wants their dogs accomplishments on line, then they can post the information themselves.

wow man i usually like your posts but im callin bullshit on this one lmao really man the only big boys are yellow or mayday dogs hahaha come on man u know better then that and i didnt miss no point i got your point i just dont agree with it lol and i dont think you could name any dogs from wildside that were comparable to maymay or noriega and im not hatin on the wildside dogs i got no problems with them at all im just sayin i dont think they had an individual dog that even really came close to be the producer mayday was thats it.
